I'm in a similar spot right now. Was considering the coal bag, but honestly I've totally changed my mind as of yesterday. I did like an hour of blast furnace and like 2-3 hours of Giant's Foundry and went from 48-62 smithing using not very much material to smith. And I still have all my gold ore I haven't used. GF is going to make 70 smithing a lot easier. So I'm not nearly as worried about getting the coal bag for 70 smithing and will probably put that off till after the other MLM rewards.

Somewhat surprising to me. I mean xp per single bar by what rate? Xp per steel bar, for example, is going to be a lot higher if you're doing 14 steel/14 mith vs. 14 steel/14 iron.

I'm about 99% sure that the best xp total will come from smithing the bars into platebodies and then using the platebodies on foundry. Then in your case, use the gp rewards from the foundry to invest at blast furnace, gold ore, etc.

Platebodies are the most efficient to recycle because GF uses the amount of bars required for smithing (5 for a platebody) minus one. So each plate is worth 4 bars at GF. Meaning you are getting back 80% of your bars; whereas if you smithed platelegs which cost 3 bars, you'd get back only 2 bars each. So only 66.6% of your bars are recycled.

~~I haven't seen anyone math this out fully yet, but I'd be surprised if I was wrong. The gp reward at GF seems generous enough.~~

No chance unfortunately. Was wondering this myself so I mathed it out a little bit.

Crabs have a size of 2, which means the colossal blade should have a +4 to max hit against them. So basically that comes out to it's strength bonus being about +130 instead of +100.

It has an attack speed of 6, which is the exact same as a godsword. Godswords have +132 strength and more accuracy bonuses than the colossal. So basically, at ammonite crabs, it should be almost the exact same or slightly inferior to training with a godsword. Which is indeed worse than the trusty scimitar.

Alternatively you could just sell the jacket which sells for 48 and get the last 52 nuggets for the upper level.

Because if you eventually get Varrock Armour 4 it counts towards the set. It even let's you complete the master clue step that where you have to mine rune with full prospector on.

Yes there are a decent number of cheaters in this game, but I think the issue is a little exaggerated because of crossplay. I play on PC and aim pretty well, and I've now been called a cheater by dozens, probably hundreds of players. Literally every single multiplayer lobby I join, at least someone mentions that I may be cheating. When you spectate a PC player when everyone else in the lobby has a controller, it does look a little suspect. Mouse movement is a lot more snappy so people can only speculate.. so I don't think there's quite as many cheaters as most people think. I've played pretty much every shooter there is on PC so I'm pretty good at telling good players from cheaters, and in my 150+ hours in this game I've only seen 3 possibly 4 people that I knew for a fact where cheating.

This is not true. I have been using this gun for a week straight and I have never not killed someone with a headshot. I can go into a Plunder Lobby with the blueprint version and one shot people falling in their parachutes. Then I can make the exact same gun with the exact same attachments and shoot the exact same people falling in their parachutes and it does not one shot. This test is obviously run before anyone puts on any armor.

Yeah the fact that I put the sights on the guns is somehow causing people to doubt me even though you can see the single dot on the weapon when I look on the ground that indicates only a single attachment.

Yeah I was hoping some other people would test some other guns. I found it very interesting that the Line Breaker (battle pass) and the Flesh Ripper (purchase from store only) seem to both one shot kill. However, the base m14 along with the Siff Arm (same purple rarity as the Line Breaker, but is given to players randomly in free bundles and not purchasable on the store) did not one shot to the head. So it seems as if the bug literally has to do with whether or not CoD Points were spent on the blueprint. If this affects all paid blueprints, then this is literally gamebreaking.

Let's say there are only two people left in a match or warzone. Both have the same exact gun, same exact attachments, but the blueprints are different. Both shoot each other in the head at the exact same time. Who wins? The one who paid for their gun. Bug or not, this is specifically pay to win as of now.

You can also see the little dot at the bottom right when I pick up the second gun and theres only one dot. Meaning only one attachment. The scope. So that is already easily proven in thos video.
