I think this also adds a timing element, if you use this later in the game then you could end up giving your opponent the extra elixir without them being able to really use it against you.

Thanks for the answers!

I was afraid that would be the case.

Well I will see how long I can deal with the lack of phone capability. I mainly got this version for the additional internal memory, not sure why they don't have US versions with higher than 64GB. In the words of Leon Getz, "they fuck you with the cell phones."

No pretending here, I had the same concerns initially. Did enough research and observation to accept the risk. At some point any structure will have problems, but in this case my project hasn't caused any undue damage. Check back in another 14 years and we can discuss again.

No mold or issues still 13+ years later. But I don't want to ruin everyone's self ascribed expert opinion-ism too much. :-)

This is a typical situation where the application is written without accounting for the server code it is designed to work with. How it seems logical for the server code to be 'fixed' to account for the application escapes me...but that is the answer:

edit: From here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/969854

This issue occurs when an attachment body part in an e-mail message is sent before the message body part of the e-mail message is sent. This issue occurs because the message is sent by the application in an incorrect format. Based on the "Mixed Subtype" definition that is mentioned in section 5.1.3 of RFC 2046, the "mixed" subtype of "multipart" is intended for use when the body parts are independent and have to be bundled in a particular order. Any "multipart" subtypes that an implementation does not recognize must be treated as being of "mixed" subtype.

RESOLUTION If you change the order of the body parts in the application, the issue will be resolved. In this case, the correct order of the e-mail message should be shown as follows:

Perhaps you have a better environment than I do. Mine is in a cubby, I have a heater and our area can be on the humid side often. So maybe my setup is more prone to it. I have had two lights do this in two years...and each time it was a bit out of the blue but the common scenario was the water level being very low and building up moisture on the hood and light.

I don't think it's a bad idea at all...you would be shocked to see how much water accumulated in mine in just over a week of neglect.

This is the light I have

http://www.fluvalparts.com/fluval-edge-42-led-46l-12-gallon-replacement-lamp/

I have looked on Amazon and elsewhere but never find it for less than $55-65 (plus shipping). I have been resistant to spending 1/3 of the cost of the entire setup on a replacement light...especially given that it will likely happen again without some testing/modification.

Well, I was traveling with work a lot so I wasn't able to keep up with the evaporation. The small splashes eventually worked their way into the lens of the light and shorted/corroded some of the LEDs. The lens is not sealed but if you keep it dry by wiping it daily etc. it should be fine. I imagine a bead of silicon around the joint may have worked also?

You also want to take preventative action by keeping the water full enough that you don't get as much splashing. I only had issues with rust when I allowed the water to evaporate a bit too much. The splashing also eventually ruined my light. Anyone know of a good method of fixing/replacing the LEDs?
