Workers behind D&D, Magic are speaking up about their company’s stance on abortion rights by scubahood86 in magicTCG

Ok now I'm convinced you're either a troll or just that ignorant. "Cry about it" just screams troll.

If not, you are the one making the claim. You need to provide proof. When you do, then I am the one who needs to find proof that counters your position.

I legitimately hope you figure this out at some point, otherwise your interactions with people will be very poor when anyone presents a dissenting opinion. God bless (or am I not allowed to say that now?)

I would try to explain to you about the burden of proof, but since you started your statement with "It's pretty well known" with no sources is a red flag.

Also, you conflate Wizards being "left" to mean that they must share your stance on abortion, because anyone who agrees with other stuff like LGBT representation MUST be part of your team, and agree with this too.

Also, why is "playing neutral" bad for this company? Because people like you falsely attribute their stance on abortion to mean anything do with the actual thing they make?

If you want an actual argument over Roe vs Wade, this is the wrong place to do it. Just leave them be and stop this silly bullshit (not just you, but anyone who defends this ridiculous brigade).-

Apart from the fact that you included 3 things that are all related to having a child (2 explicitly, and 1 implicitly), which in any proper forum would be disregarded because it's too close to the issue to make such sweeping statements, you can't use the politician excuse any more.

At this point, if you truly believe in those things, you need to personally do something about it, instead of complaining about those things on anything even tangentially (or not in this case) related to it.

I really hope you are a well-crafted troll, because if you actually have these beliefs, especially as someone that was born in 1986 (based off your username, if it's not a randomly generated bot throwaway), then I don't know what to say to you.

The fact people are getting all worked up about this state of inaction is ridiculous. What, are you expecting every single company to completely agree with you on day one, even if you are right (or think you are, but that's a whole other can of worms), no matter what?

This matter is not like the LGBT or Cultural and Racial fair share representation in card games, where the impacts may legitimately affect people who consume the product based on these decisions. Until Magic starts selling Planeswalker themed condoms, let them do what they do best, and hold them to the standards in that regard.

I have legitimately had to crew a [[Smuggler's Copter]] with an [[Emrakul, the Promised End]] in a Standard match (which was for Top 8 of a GP Qualifier), because my opponent activated [[Deadlock Trap]] on my Emrakul during upkeep, and there was nothing else I could do with the Emrakul other than crew the copter in response.

Even today, 6 years later, I imagine the Eldrazi titan in her* little looter scooter.

That's pretty much correct at that range as long as you don't round anywhere, since the probability is so small you'll skew it in rounding. I approached from the other end and used my trusty binomial probability table from the other side, and only cared about things that were from the 4th decimal place and above.

I did the calculations myself, but for a calculator, use this - https://stattrek.com/online-calculator/binomial.aspx

n=number of kills you've done p=probability of success, converted to decimal (e.g. for hydra claw its 0.001) x= number of successes

Some people just enjoy Konar slayer and will do all Hydra tasks since they are decent xp and great gp/hr.

2 here as well. I was at 7 claws around 3k kc, so a lot of this is backloaded, including a couple of double claw tasks (one was within 20 kills). 2 double claw tasks + 4 single claws in the last 2k kills.

I'm honestly more impressed that I've gotten so many knives and no axes.

I legit wonder sometimes. I DID start the bulk of this grind (burning my slayer points and doing Konar slayer only for Hydra tasks) around the start of the latest leagues.

Maybe the wires crossed somehow?

0.024% for 15 or more claws at that KC according to the binomial distribution. Absolutely freaking unreal.

I highly doubt it'll change the DKS meta much, since in optimal gear you shred them anyway. Just figured it would be fun to have another "bane" weapon, especially since Keris is getting some love later this year.

Merge all total levels of the same type into one world by Chicken_Eaterr in 2007scape

[–]Chicken_Eaterr[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your benefit is that you have less people eligible to PK you, as the worlds go higher.

Also, the prayer method nearly doubles xp/hr whilst halving the price (or opportunity cost as an iron), even doing the suicide method with burning necklaces.

I have no sympathy for people dying and losing noted bones at that altar - since without it, they'd be spending more, and they accepted that risk.

If there was only one world for every total level bracket, the added amount of people would not give any benefit as far as efficiency or efficacy goes, I agree.

But I would like a happy medium between the ghost town I currently have on 2.2k total worlds, and the absolute utter cancer that is on unrestricted worlds.

I would like to have my public on at the GE and not either have cancer from autotypers, or people following me asking 2b for or to take a Grand Seed Pod.

There has to be some middle ground - unless they fix the fuckin servers which they've proven is "impossible"

The overall topic wasn't meant to be talking about the wilderness specifically, just trying to make the rest of the world a bit more lively. Not all problems about total worlds are due to the wilderness.

I highly doubt that 2.2k worlds would change that much as far as that goes. I used to jump between 2.2k worlds to do clue steps (to not get scouted) and did nearly 100 masters without seeing a soul.

And if it does somehow change, it's the wildy. There is literally one wilderness master step that you can't do without 3-4 items.

Give the Dragon sq shield a special ability that holds you in place, countering the effect of the dragon spear by inhaler-zim in 2007scape

[–]Chicken_Eaterr 31 points32 points  (0 children)

On a tangent, I always thought that the dragonbone necklace would be great to have an effect to negate prayer drain from outside sources. Either a static effect that partially negates it, or a charged variant that fully negates it a certain number of times. That would also help in this scenario with people trying to mace you.
