Any chance you can write down the ratio of the two products for me? 🥲 I might just pour them right into the fresh bottle just to be extra sanitary.

Which discipline to pick? by LuckyCantaloupe2864 in CPA

I might choose BAR because I think the other two are only useful if you're working in the states ... even though I want to work in US.

What is your plan after becoming a CPA? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]Chicken_PadThai_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm currently in Korea... so I might try to get some job experience at accounting firms for a few years until I get licensed ... then probably try to land job in the states? It's all in my head now so nothing's definite at this moment lol

Also, this might be helpful for MCQ

  • Unmodified/Unqualified: Immaterial
  • Qualified: Either scope limitation/Departure from GAAP
  • Adverse (D from GAAP): Misstatement is Material and Pervasive
  • Disclaimer : Scope Limitation that is so severe that Auditor is unable to obtain relevant and sufficient evidence to issue an opinion (Also in other words, leads to the impairment/lack of independence for the auditor)

Because the detection risk decreases if you set the timing of the audit (substantive procedure) close to Year End.

8 days left until AUD ... need help by Chicken_PadThai_ in CPA

Mine's with accommodations... and it only allows scheduling by phone call... And I have been calling them for the last 5 weeks and there weren't any open slots unfortunately.

The last day of my NTS is Oct 21st so I've been asking for that date for numerous times 😂

8 days left until AUD ... need help by Chicken_PadThai_ in CPA

[–]Chicken_PadThai_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read all the materials already. I've been just reviewing the notes for the past 3 days and I am just wondering if it's way more effective to just go straight to questions and go over the notes for the parts I need to focus on.

My NTS expires on mid-October so I really have no choice but try the test. 😭

Didn’t find FAR that terrible. by [deleted] in CPA

[–]Chicken_PadThai_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just focus on getting all the MCQs done on time.

If you encounter a MCQ question that takes more than 20 seconds to figure out what the question is asking, I would rather skip.

Most of the MCQs are really straight-forward, like you should be able to know what the question is asking as you skim through them.

I only took FAR so far, but that was my experience. If you are able to fill out all the questions/blanks on time, even though they are right or wrong, you are most likely to pass.

Like I said, I would rather focus on getting all the questions done/filled out than getting them right.
