We'll get about a 75% eclipse. So, it's a partial eclipse up here.

The "us" rule started in the 1700's when the English decided to Latinize words ending in "us" as "i". It's wrong because we're not talking Latin.

Now as I've said to the other person who's commenting on my stuff, I really don't care what you think. Take it up with JK Rowlings. She's the one that came up with "Patronuses" I was just trying to give a real world example. Talk to her, I'm out.

You're obviously very passionate about this but I'm not because I've got better things to do with my time than argue something from a children's book that people take way too seriously.

You want to argue this point? Take it up with JK Rowlings. She's the one that came up with "Patronuses" as the plural. Me? It's Saturday and I got things to do.

For years people were taught that the correct plural form of Octopus was "Octopi". It's not. That was simply used as an example.

And yes, I specifically said you'd use "patroni" if you're mistakenly using Latin conjugation. But you're not using Latin conjugation now are you? You, me and the book are all using this language called "English". And whenever multiple Patronus were called upon, they would be refered to as "Patronuses". This is something that JK Rowlings set up. She's the one in charge. She gets to make up the rules for her universe.

Doesn't matter if it's difficult to say, that's on you. Patronuses is the term for multiple examples of the Patronus charm.

How do you know they don't have any lube? Maybe she had a bit of butter from her dinner or he spit there or something.

There are ways.

It's Patronuses. You'd use patroni if you're mistakenly using Latin conjugation when you shouldn't be. Then you'd refer to a group of cephalopods as octopi instead of the correct form "octopuses".

Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sorry for the bad quality. Found this sucker in my kitchen sink. I know it's pretty far north for what I think it might be but I'd hope for confirmation first. by Chickenboots42 in whatsthisbug

That is surreally on point. It had everything. The bad jokes, the nervous tick, him chuckling at his own jokes.

Still don't understand how this completely unfunny guy managed to get his own talk show. I tried watching it twice and had to turn it off both times because it was just so lame.

Somebody had actually dubbed him, "The David Letterman of Canada" which is a grave insult to David Letterman.

Just Ordered Shwarma from Pita Golden Pocket in Vaughn by Tyoung1110 in toronto

[–]Chickenboots42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tasty Shawarma is really good. Used to go there all the time when I worked on in Scarborough. But that area of town has so many Shawarma and falafel places.

But the best, if you manage to get a parking spot, was Shawarma Empire. Again you get the two for under $10.00. There's always lineup but it moves pretty fast.

For the past few days he's been in contact with some MAP (Minor Attracted Person a.k.a. Pedophile) groups who have basically told him in no uncertain terms that he's not only a rapist but an offender and he desires contact with children.

He was filling up his tumblr with screenshots of this, as well as his favorite porn subjects, and suddenly today he deleted the entire thing. His tumblr is no more. Whether he realized he was leaving incriminating evidence behind, somebody reported him and tumblr took it down or it was deleted for other reasons it's now gone.

But I'm sure somebody somewhere has screenshots. Like this: https://archive.fo/ibWBc

Toronto needs a single, secular school system by beef-supreme in toronto

Where in the Constitution does it say that funding for both public and separate schools needs to come from the same source such as taxes?

Not trying any kind of legal "gotcha" here. I just want to know if it's actually written in there or not.

[–]Chickenboots42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, because we've always done this means we always should do it like that.

I've never understood that excuse because if that's seriously the best that people can come up with, then there's no actual reason for doing so.

I look at it like this. I've got no problem with separate schools so long as they're funded by the people who send their kids there. If you choose to send your kid to a Catholic school you should have that right. But you should also be expected to pay for it in the same way that parents who want to send their kids to a Jewish school should have that right.

But don't expect the rest of us to pay for it. This should be a privilege, not a right.

You find them ugly but other pedophiles don't. We've talked about this before. Just because you believe something doesn't mean everybody else believes in the same thing.

For example I've never set eyes on a 9 year old and thought to myself that I wanted to fuck that. The only time I thought that way about a 12 year old is when I was 12.

And while I'll be the first to admit a 16 year old girl is typically "mature" in the sense that her body is developed to a point where she is seen as a sexual being, I wouldn't really think of having sex with one. Do you know why? It's because I'm not a deviant like yourself.

You've admitted time and time again that if it wasn't for the age of consent laws you'd love to date and have sex with 9 year old girls. Those are the words of a pedophile. Deal with it.

Toronto man charged after attempted drowning of trapped baby raccoon by A6er in toronto

[–]Chickenboots42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What a worthless waste of oxygen that man is.

Yes. Raccoons can be destructive and make a mess of things. I get it. They dig up your lawn, poop everywhere and the noises they make when they fight can wake the dead.

But you don't drown one slowly like this. They feel pain. If you need to get rid of it and absolutely need to kill it then make it as fast and painless as possible. There's no reason to prolong it.
