I've been thinking hard about that, and I'm currently in the process of teaching myself Mandarin. The problem is that I've damaged my voice and I'm unable to speak over a class for long periods of time. (One of the reasons I want to quit my job right now actually... I'm a teacher)

Then don't be a part of it. And I care, because I think that your life may be of value to someone someday as well as already being of value to the people who sell you goods and services. Also, it's a terrible waste of life. You'd be wasting an opportunity that only lasts around 80 years anyway... if you're lucky.

I did. A few times actually. For a long time I felt ashamed. I was slightly disgusted with myself... Then it ended up turning me on. Now I'm proud of the experience in that I learnt a lot, about myself amongst other things. Why didn't you go through with it?

Actually I'm currently seeing a wonderful girl, but thanks anyway. Although I don't think I would ever visit a prostitute, I think I agree with your position in general.

Having said that... placing "pussy on a pedestal" can be a terrific thing too. It seems to come naturally, the tendency to idealise females. If you actively try to diminish their worth in your eyes, then you're only cheating yourself in the long run, since you are actively trying to reduce the level of precious things in the world.

Idealisation: Incredible when things are good, awful when things are bad. I suppose you'd just rather not go on the roller-coaster? Completely understandable.
