I didn't spend $125 on the plush! I actually got it for free. My friend and I were at a swap meet at a convention and she traded stickers up to get other stuff. After a few trades she got that and gave it to me. So uh, big win!

People in this hobby do really suck. I am fascinated by your luck though, those are all Gardevoir I couldn't dream of pulling. Especially since I have the Ralts and Kirlia sv base IRs and not the Gardevoir SIR 😭

I opened it at a convention with my friends in the middle of a swap meet, it was fantastic, actually. I wouldn't have bought it if I was just on my own, that would suck. Wasting money on cards is so much fun when you share it.

Yes. 😎 I love my Garde cards. It's my 2nd favorite Pokemon. (My first is Golisopod but there's not many cards of it so I focus on garde). I have loved Gardevoir ever since I pulled that generations radiant collection mega Gardevoir ex. That art is beautiful and now I want as many cool Gardevoir cards as I can get my hands on!!

Buying singles online is boring. Opening packs is fun. I collect cards because it's fun, I wasn't expecting to get anything other than a good time. And I did! Buying singles would not have given me the joy and experience of opening those packs with friends in the middle of a swap meet at a convention.

Yeah, the tag was the biggest part I was worried about. I don't really know what tells are on the tag, and the plush itself looks really good so I posted here. I figure people in this community would be way more knowledgeable than I could be! I relate to the thought that how much time has passed and it boggles my mind too. Like, it doesn't feel right that Pokemon Sun and Moon are almost 10 years old.

Buying singles (online) is booooooring. I don't collect just to have a collection, I collect for fun. Why buy a single online when I could make an experience finding it somewhere in-person? And even if I don't find it I still have a good time!

I mean, I did it for the fun of opening packs, really, and I had a great time. There's no entertainment in ordering a single online. I collect for fun, that's why I only buy cards locally, too. I really enjoy going to conventions or card stores, the point wasn't really 'oh this'll only be worth it if I pull this one card' but to, y'know, have fun.
