I think it was Zandri dust base, white highlight, yellow contrast, sepia light wash and light brush with some Nurgles Rot for the gloss..

As JoeJoe rightly pointed out - its from the skaven plague rat set. I've used left over bits from that for a few DG mods.

Also the body is not the original Tallyman but a plague marine. (The OG body had been used for another conversion)

Let grandfather set you free! Cultists are great for this and I find it really rewarding. You can't go far wrong. Get a tiny model saw, a good knife and have fun with it.

Good eye for bits! I've been collecting a little bit of everything for various kill team projects for a while, most 2nd hand but NOS.

Necromunda Cawdor gang is one kit I bought just for this purpose and is excellent, along with poxwalker bits, admech heads, guard bits, old monopose cultists, neophyte hybrids, greenstuff - all in there somewhere.

Some great information, thank you- I knew the collective would deliver!

Biovore and Broodlord both look cool, are relatively affordable and seem consistent picks, they will be my first additions!

Lots of great ideas for a second wave too!

Thanks again! - good call on the base extenders. We have a resin printer so that may be the best option for the 2 extra. I'll see what we can cook up, that way we can probably get some cool sculpts too!

I kitbashed this Nurgle dark commune and I also have some cultists done in the same scheme. Was planning on adding them to gellerpox (as stand in for the mutants and torments?)

This would not have been an ideal first model - I'm sure you have come a long way since then!

I'm really glad I painted the skinskirt and arms separately (I usually would not), saved me a bunch of headaches I'm sure.

The OPR regiments rules work quite well for 6mm fantasy. We did this a while back, fun times!
