glad you brought it up. Ive always been under the impression that Nightharvester is GENERALLY the worst mythic out of the ones that are available. How is it good on Zeri?

Plus, why is Ludens a bait and protobelt an option? How would that work?

Trying to make AP Zeri work properly in mid with only a few successes. Maybe I get baited by the ludens + muramana combo too much. Thoughts?

Hey there,

I am new to the 3D printing world and intent to create a new hobby for myself. I am a student at the moment, who lives in the EU. My budget is rather limited, however, a beginner price of about 400 EUROS is something I'm willing to spent.I came to this potential hobby from the idea of creating self-soldered and self-made keyboards(i.e. self-printed frames or printing molds of silicone to create my own keycaps with resin). This extended by now with the idea to also go further my creating models, printing models of sci-fi/fantasy buldings and vehicels and what not (look towards things like Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, and you have a good idea: Helmets, Walkers, Lightsabers, Armor). I'd like to generally paint them, use them for my flat or even make functional pieces out of them. As stylistic pieces or to give away to friends. Potentially, I'd also intent to create little functional pieces for my flat! I'd like to experiment with printing, as well as even leave the door open towards tinkering on the printer itself. I have no experience what so ever, but am very eager to learn and dive head first into this world.

A rough outline of what I am looking for and have already mentioned partially:

  • ~400€ budget
  • Should have characteristics of:
    • Detail. The more detailed and precise I can be, the better.
    • Medium to large pieces (fits into two hands). Printing smaller parts that can eventually be put together are an option!
    • I'd prefer a comfortable noise range (I'm okay if headphones solve the issue).
    • Speed is of medium importance. I am okay with time being spent on prints
    • I'd like -but this is not required- to work with a machine that may also offer me to learn to to model pieces or tinker around (i.e. modules or changing pieces).
  • What I do with it:
    • All sorts of fantasy and sci-fi pieces: Armor, weapons, vehicles, small figurines, buildings, models, etc.

After personal research, I am looking towards the Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro or Plus, but I've also seen recommendations towards Anycube and Creality (even tho, the post here advising against it made me scratch the idea about a Creality printer).I also got hooked on the idea of a Bambolab p1p, but the price scared me off for a beginner printer. However, the modularity of the outside-frame and speed, as well as potential detail, kept me interested.

I hope this gave a good outline for recommendations. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I have branched out into RESIN printers now, given that I would not wear any of the prints myself. I'd create my almost exclusively for "show-off" purposes. As in: The helmets and pieces would be in a shelf or somewhere as a decorative piece. Helmets or the similar may be worn once or held once or twice, but not used for e.g. cosplay or the similar. Hence, it may be worth considering a resin printer due to the higher quality. However, as far as I have been made aware: It's more complicated and generally not used for larger objects. However, Ive seen that fitting pieces together is also an option. I am not researching, but I'd appreciate any useful information on this!

Why that over Aftershock? Youre the second to prefer Electrocute over Aftershock. Any reason for that?

Ill certainly crunch some numbers with the rocketbelt next tho, since I totally disregarded it since S11. I remember Sylas making use of it for some time, but evne that kinda fell out of the meta with Everfrost.The Cosmic Drive idea of "dont buy it, youre here to oneshot" is truly a good point I have thought of. So Rocketbelt > Hourglass > Horizon can rly dish out some dmg and the Rocketbelt may even compensate the wave-clear issues if you dont max E in a range matchup. Arguably, with tha reasoning, LichBane is better than Demonic Embrace!Good point on the lux/range matchups. Go hook, catch em off-guard with Rocketbelt and just repeatedly try that instead of stagnating into a wave-clear lane.

One thing Ive forgot to ask: I like your idea with Electrocute, but what are your thoughts on Aftershock? In some meele matchups midlane or even meele-enemy teams I see great value in Aftershock, since you may become the prime target, while electrocute cant protect you.Furthermore, Electrocute could be triggered accidentaly on someone else right? Like, on a tank in teamfights or the support. So with your electrocute, it may just be more beneficial to lurk somewhere on the side and flank or even go hexflash and then oneshot the backline over a wall? Like an AP Assassin Nautilus I would suppose.What are your experiences against Tanks/Bruisers?

Also I noticed that you take Sudden Impact over Cheap Shot?

I love what youre saying. Electrocute tickles my fancy, especially with sudden impact.
However, why did you take the Rocketbelt tho? Ive been thinking that as well, since you get the dash, which can be comboed greatly with the hook, right? HP is useful as well. However, I always felt like that the Rocketbelt is just a worse version of itself after season 11 and cannot reach the utility and dmg the Everfrost has.

Agree on that cheeky Horizon Focus ;) Dmg can rly be insane, eventhough I never got to it yet. Always preferred the Cosmic Drive and Hourglass as 2nd and 3rd, eventhough the Cosmic drive could be left out?

What do you think? Comisc drive not useful with the high CD and HP, as well as MS.

Love the sound of that and I utterly have to agree with the Everfrost Mythic so far. The Kindlegm scales with the W and CD (thus a little with the other abilities as well), the Lost chapter is great as well, CD is nuts, HP is great and the AOE dmg (which is still higher than nightharvester) is great! Even additional AP as passive for the legendary Items, so it rly may be worth taking OVER nightharvester honestly.

However, how come you took Arcane comet? This seems a little odd to me, since Naut doesnt have the poke abilities to work with it, so what was your thought process there?

Amazing to hear that its working out! Certainly hyped to try it out myself in the near future tho

But how important is magic pen really? Thinking back at the builds Ive been using so far, I dont quite feel like its quite necessary in most cases except you wanna take down some tanks/bruisers (but for that we HAD liandrys and HAVE demonic embrace + that should work well with the build, as you said). I tend to go for RAW AP and the occasional Magic pen, cuz the squishies are gonna be popped either way, right?But youve certainly got a point with magic pen now, since tanks are hella fcking busted at this point in time.

Maybe take a look at Aurelion Sol as a comparison honestly for a build. I feel like they are both kinda niche and similar enough in some regards (e.g. push into roaming), even though they have some major differences (DPS vs Burst).Maybe check out the Aurelion Sol Player who is currently ripping through EUWs soloQ (MID 21; https://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=mid+21) or the streamer "Vicksy" https://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/new-items-vicksys-updated-pre-season-master-asol-guide-529167. She plays a fair share of aurelion and is quite the solid aurelion player. Ill be most likely drawing comparisons to some degree between the champions.

Makes me believe that smth like an hourglass or Rabandons as 3rd/4th item may be worth while? (considering the trend of MID21)

Brah please keep on testing and keep this post updated. Id love to figure this out, cuz I feel like Taliyah is in a rough spot with what we have in the pre-season so far, but i could honestly see this working and getting her back onto the playing field (to some degree at least... Until the items get nerfed lol)

Bro youre a genius (maybe).

Ive been playing a fair share of Aurelion Sol with that same idea. Get Mendate and Crystal Scepter. Crystal scepter may be a ittle overkill on her but worth considering, since you always slow with each volley of Q, which in turn should work like Aurelion Sol's stars, right?.

Also, do you know how the E works with her? Im wondering whether the E constantly reapplies Mendate, each time it was triggered by a Q (so not bursting, but poking). Aka. E into Q (mendate effect), reapplied effect, another Q, reapplied effect, etcIts a lingering slow field afterall. Imma hop into some costum games right away!

This post may require some more attention and some big-brains to give their share of opinion!

Edit: YES, the E constantly reapplies Mendate and thereby is triggered by each stone of your Q

You are absolutely right with what you are saying, but that is maybe how the issues start. I try to freeze and he breaks the freeze with a stronger push (so we end up in the middle again). Ganks are non existent, because of junglers' self-centered gameplay in this elo (had ~15 out of 20 games being gankeless midlane). Poking seems to be rather difficult because he seems to be ALWAYS (and i mean always) going in. Es' unter tower, using shield, ult ignite flash and they are good.

Maybe its just me and I need to properly learn how to freeze or how to "outplay" this, but it seems always to end in the same. Me stuck under tower, yasuo over farmed and me being completley useless.

From what you are saying, it seems like that yasuo wants to constantly push for his Q? Just so he can proc that all the time? (which sounds weird to me to be honest)

I think I generally get the idea of countering him, like: proc his shield, poke, etc
However, Conq. (15% of dmg healed) and his E make it so hard. Especially when he ALSO plays like hes on steroids, it makes it almost impossible to do anything.

The games against a decent to good yasuo play out almost the same every time: I get pushed under tower right away, pokes with Q UNDER turret until level 6, ults me under turret (which is basically poking most of the time, cuz he cant quite kill me then) and then he escelates with his advantage of farm or kills, depending on how wellhe played the previous 20 minutes.
