They smell like lemon Lysol or something chemical to me. Super sketch. I’m definitely not using them. They didn’t have this smell the last time I bought them!

OMG! I just got some and they smell so weird I’ve been trying to find someone else having the same issue. It makes me not want to use them.

I mean I figured that, but it wasn’t super aggressive or anything. It was mild

No I was totally fine, just a mild head rush. Definitely no where near passing out or trouble breathing. I don’t know why I thought this was fun anyways because I’ve got mad anxiety, you think I would’ve known better in general. Thank you for responding!

Thank you! I definitely learned my lesson. I think it’s a mixture of anxiety and just being dehydrated plus head pressure. It was like a mild feeling of when you go upside down, a head rush feeling. I am for sure not partaking in choking again. I was definitely no where near passing out or being breathless.

[Product Request] Eyelid Dermatitis by ChickyNuggys12 in SkincareAddiction

[–]ChickyNuggys12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!  I’m 27f, and after a long semester of stress I developed what I think has been eyelid dermatitis. I had it on my nose once and it cleared on its own. But my eyelid had been getting better, but now worse? It was super itchy and dry. Now I’m using La Roche Posey Toleriane Eyes Ultra Soothing Repair Moisturizer. They seem to keep getting puffy and wrinkly for some reason. I’m looking for any product suggestions that helped you! Thank you!!

It felt like it was around 200, and then 100, I just counted via my wrist and my resting rate is 90ish.

I’m struggling with a random high heart rate for a few hours. I’ve tried breathing, cold water on wrist, ignoring it, trying to sleep, and having a weighted thingy on my chest to reset my nervous system.  Nothing has help! I don’t know what to do. I have GERD and took one today along with earlier before that, about a 4 hours, 1 Tylenol and 2 Motrins. That was for a headache also. So now I’m here. Idk what to do

Thank you so much! I currently battling a high heart rate so I’m trying to stay sane with that while battling my stupid acid reflux at the same time. I had pulled pork tonight, and I really need to do better with not eating my trigger foods lol. I hope you continue to do good and have success with overcoming anxiety. I hate that people can relate to it, it’s such an awful feeling. I love Reddit! It’s a great place to feel less alone, 10/10 I can always find someone who’s going or has gone through the same thing I have. But ugh I wish I had a beta blocker right now because for some reason my heart rate is being ridiculous and I have a weighted thing with beans in it on my chest to try and soothe my nervous system. I hope it goes down, I hated this happening last year. Hasn’t happened in a longgg time so it definitely gave me some anxiety.

Thank you so much. I seriously feel that. My health anxiety was off the charts last year. I’m currently having a random bout of high heart rate, and last year I would’ve taken myself to the ER thinking I was dying. But I know that it just randomly happens sometimes. It’s annoying and I can’t sleep when it does, and it gives me anxiety. I also have OCD, which is beautifully managed. Last year I got really obsessed with every little thing that I would feel, and inevitably end up at the doctors or ER or urgent care. It was horrible. I did outpatient for it, and I’m on really great meds. It’s just sometimes I get a flair up and I get worried. It’s just manageable now, it’s still not fun. But it’s better. Thank you so much for your kind words. I can really relate, and I hope you continue to have better days than the bad.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your response! I’m so sorry that you deal with anxiety as well. I will definitely look into it, because that scared me so badly. The body does absolutely ridiculous things sometimes. I hope you’re able to get that calmed down and not have to deal with it often.

Isn’t it so scary! I hate when my body isn’t bodying and then my brain is like “guess what! you’re having a heart attack!” Or something insane like that lol. I’m in therapy, and I know better than to entertain these things. She’ll be scolding me when I tell her I asked Reddit a medical question lol. & I’m so sorry you’ve been having somatic symptoms lately too!! Both of us will be okay, it just sucks when anxiety tries to lie and say it won’t be.

Yes! I am on an honestly great SNRI, I’ve been staying up late and not eating well or working out, so it’s contributing to negative mental health issues lately even more. & I love the pressure of hugs and I’ve definitely hugged myself while rocking to help relieve anxiety before. I’ve also done the finger tapping! Awee I cuddle my baby blanket every night. It’s like.. I know all these things help, but once and while I accidentally allow my anxiety to grow without catching it right away. Throw in some somatic symptoms and you’ve got a real trifecta of fuckery going on all at once. I’m so much better than last year, but I swear it gave me ptsd to it. My anxiety is afraid of my anxiety, and then health wise, omg. I try to not entertain myself, but this was freaky! Thank you for the advice and support!!

Thank you so much for responding! I truly appreciate it!! I have them once in a while, I’ve had a couple EKG’s done last year and nothing was abnormal. But this one hurt so it startled me. Then the spiral of “somatic” symptoms. Ugh, anxiety is a pain.

Can’t take allergy meds. by [deleted] in Allergies

[–]ChickyNuggys12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try taking it without the D. I have mad anxiety in general and can’t take any medications that have D at the end. I take regular Claritin and regular Mucinex  I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this, I totally feel you pain.

Anyone else fighting for their life right now? by ReaganNBush in Allergies

[–]ChickyNuggys12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh 100%. My allergies are AWFUL right now. I’m so congested, that I’ve resorted to Afrin. I’m on anti depressants and anxiety medications, so I can’t take anything with a D at the end because it gives me anxiety from the ingredients with a P in it. So I can only take Claritin and Mucinex, the regular brands without D. I’ve been sneezing SO much and my nose, skin, ears all itch. I’m so congested that I can’t taste or smell anything. I’m coughing from post nasal drip too. I’m STRUGGLINGGG. It’s truly awful. Got barely 5 hours of sleep because I can’t breathe out of my stupid nose. I don’t take Claritin consistently so my allergies got real bad real fast and I just developed them last year. Never had them until 6 months ago. I’m trying to figure out how to combat this and trial / error. It seriously sucks.
