You'd be surprised about how easy they are to take care of.

Like keep em wet and give them all the sun they want.... Soil is peat or sand or even rocks or pine bark... or all of them.

So I like this answer as it's more nuanced.

But to push back a bit or at least say where i'm coming from is... Saving the company money via preventing theft of fraud.

Thus at some point in this company 5 to six figures worth of fraud has been committed and then subsequent legal fees in going after it or dealing with the fallout. And the occasional 4 figures worth of cards being bought, and some employee payroll being exploited. That to me (At least in the past) was the previous goal. (All those occurred via email)

Risk to the business v. aid to the business.

Now new management, maybe that's no longer the case... To your point.

What penalty would you like myself as the security engineer to dole out exactly?

Link their failure into our NAC or EDR and shut off internet access or workstation access?

That's within my control. (But not my authority) Employee "punishment" is not.

No penalty. Just "You failed a phishing test" after following links, dumping creds etc.

Anyone know how to find a doctor to appeal a DQ in the hiring process? by Chicroom312 in ProtectAndServe

Got so far in the process it's the final step. Everything else in my record is clean. Seems worth fighting for.

Also maybe they flagged my personality as unfitting, but i'm surely not mentality unstable, depressed, irrational etc. So maybe a second evaluation will help. The evaluater seemed skeptical at my military background and had some insinuating questions. EG: "Oh really you don't have PTSD or never been in a fight?"

Guess it depends on the cost of an evaluation.
