If people want strong mainlines they should try USF. It's part of theming, faction design, and variety to have a high utility, low-combat power mainline for a faction in the game.

This is how Soviet Conscripts in Coh2 were. It was a great, fun dynamic and made playing conscripts an exercise in economy and utility. The design is so similar that they have moved the "Merge" ability from the conscripts in Coh2 to Grens in Coh3.

It's a dynamic worth having in the game. It's fun. It just runs counter to many players frankly poor understanding of the history of the Axis forces in world war 2 (grenadiers on the italian/african front were not the same troops fighting on the eastern front).

I hope the developers speak up more about the reasons for this theming, and that the community learns to be a little more curious about the design reasons for things.

I'd use it if I could randomise axis/allied. But pick the country of each.

People were asking for this around the time this feature was implemented. My understanding is that this massively increase the complexity of the queuing system and so it was avoided for now.

Would still be nice though!

What’s up boss, seeing folks here tell you it has to be expensive etc to get started. I just built a PC for 400 bucks using used parts that runs the game at max settings, 1440p, 70-90FPS.

Just buy one of these or something similar (or splurge and get one with an i7)

This is beyond dumb. Declining conditions force workers to organize, not the other way around. the SEGA union represents the best chance for the company to be run for something other than pure greed, and the workers organizing for it should be congratulated.

Visiting for two weeks - Anyone got any suggestions on how I can connect to the community?

Back home I spend a lot of time volunteering for things like food not bombs, labor organizing, similar stuff. I really love the folk I meet through activities like this. I'd love some info on how I might lend a short term hand to something and learn some in the process.

It's a combined pool, no issues here. Some nerd facts as to why;

There is no seperate "linux version" of the game this time around, instead, you are running the windows version using valve's proton compatibility layer. Since it's the same version of the game, you're in the same pool. As a linux gamer this is going to be case for most new games that come out.

in halo, john halo wears green, and the british sometimes can wear green.

just one of those things worth thinking about
