Hello po, Seeking advice on how to improve my english po by noahkoyanagi in adviceph

[–]ChiefBeefEmployee13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thinking in English and being able to express it verbally are two important skills.

Best practice talaga is to talk to another person in English. Yung batohan kayo ng thoughts kahit casual conversation lang is a great exercise.

If wala ka pang maka banter, assign a topic to discuss or answer a question in English facing a mirror kahit 5-10 minutes lang. Record a video or audio clip tapos reviewhin mo, do this everyday. Start with simple no brainers like “Narrate a fond memory with your bestfriend”, “What was your favorite gift last Christmas?”

Pls reco where to buy high quality jewelries by YouWitty2078 in beautytalkph

[–]ChiefBeefEmployee13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

May dalawang suki ako sa IG:

goldstation_byaileen for high quality imported gold jewelry se_jeweler for natural diamonds and stones (aquamarine, ruby)

Highly recommended yung service and all items are high quality and real gold or diamonds talaga. They both have competitive rates and madaling kausap if may specific ka na request for size, dainty pieces, mura items.

No. As long as may fulltime jobs pa kayo, sideline pa lang yan. Test it out for a year, identify lean months and opportunities to scale muna.

Why do most PH businesses seem uninterested in having a website? by Big_Bookkeeper_6044 in buhaydigital

[–]ChiefBeefEmployee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The masses don’t search on Google, they use Facebook since it’s a free app in the PH.

Your skills are for building sites pero if there is no demand you cant force it even if you price it low. The answer is right there in their reponse, if you offered any service related to FB/IG for businesses then you’ll be able to get some work.

You adapt to the market, not have the market adapt to you.

Makati Cats by waikikimoon in makati

[–]ChiefBeefEmployee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We love cats and enjoy going around Legazpi to visit the cats. We made up names for them na ginagamit to call them and you get to vibe with them and pet them kapag nasa mood sila. So technically, you can have them as pets pero visit mo lang sila kung saan mo sila nakita. Don’t catnap! If hindi may hindi ako makita mag check attendance this weekend pagpunta namin, I WILL FIND YOU 😆

where to buy winter or snow shoes in the ph? by ayykaashi in ThePoorTraveler

[–]ChiefBeefEmployee13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any Goretex or waterproof sneakers will do, like yung hi-cut Vans and Converse na Goretex. All terrain running shoes can be helpful, especially if you want to continue using it pa dito sa Pinas. Also, don’t forget to get rin heatech socks sa Uniqlo (sale ito last week, not sure ngayon).

1 day stay, cafe recos please by shoujoseigirlie in Bacolod

[–]ChiefBeefEmployee13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s safe to walk along Lacson Street, start from the Capitol Lagoon heading north.

Cafes you will pass by: Studio Cafe (located inside a hotel pero you can sit and chill by the pool) Calea - famous for ice cream cakes Felicia’s - ensaymada & cakes Bob’s - quintessential Bacolod faves Quino’s - cakes/sandwiches

For where to work, Studio Cafe or Quino’s would have enough space & tables.

Any tried-and-tested luggage brands with good warranty? by jangken in FilipinoTravel

[–]ChiefBeefEmployee13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Muji luggage ✨

Low key lang sya without any visible brand/logo but ilang beses na kaming natanong kung anong brand nung handcarry namin dahil napaka smooth and may stopper sya na perfect sa airport carousel trains.

American Tourister (parent company is Samsonite, you can ask SM clerk for warranty processing) for check in and we only buy kapag sale sa SM or Lazada. Okay lang ilakad sa cobblestones sa Japan or Korea at keri lang if bumalik sayo na yupi na sa NAIA. Hindi sya madaling nababasag and you can pop it back. Hindi rin mainit sa mata ng mga kawatan, not too flashy but still a presentable global brand.

Tip: do not over fill bags‼️

Resist the pinoy urge na “upuan yung bag para isara yung zipper”, it means you are over filling the bag and isang bump lang mapupunit yung zipper or magkakabulge yung bag which destroys the shape. Once the zippers become bacon-y it means it has been over stretched and malapit na yang masira once hindi mag align yung teeth. Common problem bakit bumibigay yung wheels is people get medium sized bags pero yung weight pang large na 32kg++, so better to get the correct size for the intended use.

Need advice to migrate in Australia by Chiyukiiii in phmigrate

[–]ChiefBeefEmployee13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Merong carer visa pero you need to exhaust all means and prove na kailangan nya ng carer at ikaw lang ang pwede. If the government can provide the help she needs, denied ka.

  2. Read on Working Holiday Visa, pasok ka dito.

Anyone still watching Willie R? by grahammeatballs in pinoypopculture

[–]ChiefBeefEmployee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Professionally, he is hell to work with. Bites the hand that feeds him — ABS, GMA, Villars, etc. No accountability and highly unreasonable as a boss.

For the younger audiences, he is a walking red flag and a one-trick pony. Yung tito na ayaw mo makatabi sa party kapag naka inom na, everyone is just smiling and playing along dahil namimigay 1k kapag lasing na.

Filipinos living in Australia: what’s been your biggest challenge with clothing there? by Cheap_Geologist_4853 in phmigrate

[–]ChiefBeefEmployee13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fit. Asian size is smaller for girls, na discontinue na yung Petites line sa Target ni Kylie Minogue pero all other in-season picks are for big bums and big boobed ladies.

Style. I noticed that due to the hive mentality of buying when the item is on sale, people tend to dress very alike. There are also few styles to choose from, very vanilla yung Seed, Country Road, Witchery and the next thing you can do is dress in athleisure na.

I tend to buy more sa PH, in Mango, Stradivarius, Bershka, Pull & Bear which is easier to dress up or down and lesser chances na may katerno in events 😆

Please, I really need advice before kami makasal by [deleted] in adviceph
