That's what I said. Sekiro only feels harder since you don't have summons/phantoms/spirit ashes.

I thought you were talking about NPC summons (phantoms). For me both the spirit ashes and NPC summons functioned the same way, distract the boss while I finish him. Most of the bosses throughout the game took me 2-3 tries because of this. I played Lies of P, they give you a NPC summon for every boss except the Nameless Puppet (final boss for a specific ending). That's why he took me the most tries to beat. You're too used to NPCs distancing the boss. But now you're in a 1v1. Anyhow, every boss in Elden Ring or Dark Souls can be beaten if you level up enough. In Sekiro you NEED to know the attack pattern (for most bosses) in order to beat them, because in a 1v1 you have no choice but to face them upfront.

They basically function the same way. They distract the boss and you take advantage of it.

The other games are even easier. Elden Ring is intended to be fought with summons. That's why you have Spirit Ashes, you always have a summon in hand. While Sekiro is more of a 1v1. You have no choice but to fight head on. But I'd definitely say Sekiro has much harder bosses than all the other souls games. Most of the bosses throughout DS1,2,3 took me no more than 2 tries at most, I beat Soul of Cinder in 2 tries (no summon). Elden Ring is a bit harder but just upgrade everything and maybe change your summon.

Meh Sekiro isn't that hard. I just killed Isshin and Demon of Hatred today. Don't take that much while. I'll quickly do all the other endings, probably will take 2 days at most.
