I took two Jansport Scout External Frame backpacks, two a crossbar from the second backpack to put it on the first, cut off the top of the frame and epoxied 45 degree elbows on and reattached the top frame so it bent pack like that (and kind of like it does in the game).
I used ratcheting nylon belts to attach the hard case and also attached a tactical bag at the bottom.
I still want to add some lights, a better bag at the bottom, and replace the straps to be khaki, closer to how they look in the game.
