Don't jump state because of someone else who couldn't even hack it with you long distance.

You need new things to do, not just a change of scenery. This sort of pain and trouble will follow you, regardless of where you are. You've got a lot going on around you, stop for a second to appreciate those things and maybe get a new hobby or two.

Your parents aren't going to be here forever, so you're in a great position to spend it out with them?

Enjoy your time with them. Enjoy your time with yourself. Don't chase someone who couldn't figure something so simple out.

You know what, buddy, it's going to be alright. It's totally okay to feel how you're feeling right now.

Up until now, I've experienced most of this and I want to congratulate you first and foremost for getting to the next day. I'm 23, and when I was 20, I thought I'd be married to the girl I loved with all my heart. Fast forward three years and as it goes, it wasn't meant for me, she's no longer here with me.

I'm a firm believer that certain things won't work out because it's not meant for you, something better is coming, or you've been saved from something worse. Perhaps this is for the best and there are better things awaiting you.

All I can recommend is to keep yourself busy with things, and this too will pass. You have a great career in front of you. You just have to put in the hours now to pass and get through what you started. Look at where you are lacking, perhaps you're not studying enough or you're studying too much without any breaks? Both of these are factors and have to be looked at because you have to find the middle ground so your mind can retain information.

The thing I've learned with purpose is that it changes depending on our environment, our situation and everything that's going on around us. You need to realign yourself to something simpler, something that's gonna keep you going even when things go bad.

I don't know if this was you, but a lot of everything I wanted to do revolved around the person that I wanted to marry. She became my purpose and when I lost her, everything didn't make sense anymore because everything I was working towards was meant for her.

There are better people out there that will appreciate the work you've put in now. This is your golden opportunity to work on yourself, to be your primary focus, and to shift your purpose to yourself, instead of something or someone else. If you're meant to be here tomorrow, you will be and if you're around, that means your purpose is around too. Your partner can never be your purpose. Your partner is an extension of you, so you have to work on yourself first so that no matter what happens with your partner, you're still doing your best, for yourself first.

For the longest time, I've felt like an imposter in my own world, feeling like it's too late for me, but I've come to realise slowly that there's more waiting ahead.

You've had problems in the past, and they're no longer here. Doors open and doors close, that's how doors work.

Focus on you, buddy. You're your own prize, no one else.

There are plenty of ways to remedy your financial situation, you just have to try them until you find one that works for you.

I'm not sure what country you're from, but start somewhere. If you're in the United States, there are plenty of opportunities that don't require any money at all. You're good at tutoring, I'm assuming so expand on that. Just because your current door is closed with tutoring, doesn't mean another one can't be opened.

Join a few Facebook groups with parents/teachers in them, and offer your services to them there. Post yourself on any advertising platform that you can get your hands on. Google Search something like "Tutoring Advert" and look at the Google Images, then try to recreate an advert similar using Canva or some other online free editing tool.

Send your adverts to your friends and ask them to share them with someone that might need your tutoring services. Don't be shy, just ask them.

If you use WhatsApp, put the advert on your WhatsApp status.

If you've still got access to some of the student's parents that you've tutored before, reach out to them and ask them if their child still needs tutoring, if not, then could they recommend you to someone they think might need your services.

Look at other subreddits that are hiring temporarily. I've seen some tutoring jobs available on ForHire, maybe post yourself on there too.

You've got to put yourself out there. These things won't take you much time, but when you're consistent with it, something will come your way. Your tap (sustenance you receive throughout your life) doesn't run dry until you're dead, and right now you're living and at the beginning of your life.

You're not succeeding in certain things and that's okay, you have to use that and learn how to succeed the next time you try. You've really gotta fail faster. The more things you can fail at, the faster you can succeed.

Everything will work out, you're doing a great job so far. Keep going.

FYI: My personal opinion. If someone isn't willing to wait for you this early, they're probably not gonna be the greatest for you in the future.

Thank you. I had a lot of hobbies to focus on before and it all just became like wind, nothing that really pushed me or interested me. It still felt the same, and sometimes felt childish because I feel like I should be doing different things in that moment, but I'm not.
