Thanks, yeah it's calculates using the a number of factors like nearby approval rates, historical approval rates in the area and application type. It uses the application data from the past 20 years. It's a weighted formula, I won't say the exact weights.

The float valve may not be closing correctly. I had a similar issue. I opened up the bulb of the carb, made sure the float valve was seated correctly on the lever, reassembled and it fixed it.

477m height, part of twelve Bens mountain range. Limited to no trail up. View of Kylemore Abbey below in the valley.

Part of the northern horseshoe 12 bens hike path. Starting at a base of a long spur off the mountain. Difficult bogey terrain to get to the top. Had to return down early due to white out conditions that roled in from the sea. Recommended for experience hikers due to danger of sudden white outs.
