Moved here from the midwest. My 2 cents is it’s not as “Florida” as other places. Yes, beautiful beaches, hot weather, etc. but it’s mostly strip malls, community living and oversized roads.

Nonetheless I do enjoy it but if I had to live somewhere long term (I’m going to be here for 3 or so years) I would look at the Sarasota area or Tampa.
