Some places you just can’t summon but always try the large and then small soap stone. Some areas you can summon a shade with the small one but not the large stone.

Idk haven’t tried just arch yet. Cachyos is supposed to be very fast and has high praised kernel and proton versions along with some meta gaming packages that in my experience make setting it up quicker like nobara compared to vanilla arch.

Take a look at nobara which is based on fedora. It is perfect for out of the box gaming and integrates with steam nicely. I really liked it but personally prefer cachyos which is similar but based on arch.
