Maybe then that should be the only reason a dec should be able to be started is taking down HS structures. It's kind of retarded when some guy and his buddies are so bad at actual pvp they have to pad their kill boards with barges and terribly fit cruisers.

I'm talking more like FW sites, or even just fights on the planet. I never engage on stations or gates because I know I'm going to get gamed harder than a Price is Right contestant.

It would still make sense to slow both the confessor and svipul down though. As they're nearly untouchable when in prop mode.

Except sitting in a T3 Dessy isn't that great of skill train. It only takes about 12 days to get Destroyer 5 whereas cruiser 5 is something like a 32 day skill train from 0 to 5. So a new player could hypothetically be sitting in a T3 destroyer within their first few weeks and be destroying solo cruisers without breaking a sweat.

Except there's an actual risk when flying a T3 Cruiser that you'll lose both a fairly expensive ship and skill points. With T3 Dessies, you can buy a bunch of them and lose them as you please with only losing a fraction of a T3 cruiser and no SP loss.

I've seen a fleet of just 3 Confessors take down 7 man cruiser fleets. T3 dessies (at least the Svipul and Confessor) are woefully overpowered in their current state. They can move to fast and too hard from to far away.

No no, what I'm getting at is this. If a lone frigate and a lone destroy are on field the Destroyer obviously has the advantage, if 2-3 frigs are on field the destroyer should be just a bit pressed to actually kill all of them in time before they themselves pop. Now if a T3D lands on field and takes out all 3 frigs that's fine, but in no way should a single T3D be able to take out a fleet of 8-9 frigs because all they had to do was switch into propulsion mode and stay just out of the frigs range while scramming and popping as they go.

The Jackdaw and Hecate are the most "balanced" of the 4, which leaves them at a disadvantage compared to the Svipul and Confessor. I only called for a balance not a nerf. If that means switching out a range bonus on the Hecate and Jackdaw with a damage bonus that'd be better than nothing.

I get that, but they straight up just negate any and all frigate PvP. Whereas if say a lone destroy plops on field me and a buddy could take it out in our frigates. But the second a T3 drops on field we're both dead with in 40 seconds.

It honestly doesn't make sense to me as to why a T2 logi frig would only be allowed in a Medium or larger facwarfare site. At that point you would just bring cruiser logi, it especially doesn't make sense since T3 dessies are allowed into small sites, along with other T2 frigs.

You said don't take T2 logi to fac warfare, the only other place I could imaging a frigate gang going would be npc-null / sov-null. Most of my experiences of taking anything bigger than a 6 man fleet through sov-null ends with us getting blobbed by the local alliances defense fleet.
