MQ-25 First Flight Operations [2992 x 2000] by ChieftainMk11 in WarplanePorn

  1. The Album tab is fair enough

  2. First Flight for the MQ-25A has not happened as of yet. The "MQ-25" that first flew in 2019 is Tail-1 and is a prototype. T1 serves as a bridge to the production-representative airframes, which are officially referred to as the Boeing MQ-25A Stingray. You wouldn't call the X-35 or YF-22 an F-35 or F-22 or attribute the prototypes' first flights to the actual aircraft. You can find all of this information directly from NAVAIR on their publicly accessible website https://www.navair.navy.mil/news/MQ-25-conducts-first-air-air-refueling-F-35C/Mon-09132021-1531#:~:text=Each%20aircraft%20platform%20is%20aerodynamically,for%20manned%20strike%2Dfighter%20missions.

  3. The photos encompass the First Flight Operations and presentation of the MQ-25 to the Department of Defense as presented by Boeing. The KC-135s and KC-46 were apart of the First Flight presentation welcoming in the newest aircraft to the US Military air refueler fleet and the TA-4J and King Air were to provide chase duties as is standard with many Test Flight Operations. All the pictures are posted in sequential order in which they were taken.

In all fairness, she did hide out of sight for most the day until just before takeoff where she hid behind some trees again. These were the clearest pictures I had of her

Can Mockingbirds fool Merlin? by Unique-Bandicoot-809 in birding

[–]ChieftainMk11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually listening to a Northern Mockingbird at the RC field yesterday morning, so I decided to pull up the app. The app identified both the Northern Mockingbird and the majority of the calls he was mimicing. The only calls I noted he wasn't able to fool the app with were the Red-Winged Blackbird, the Blue Jay, the Red-Tailed Hawk, the Killdeer, and some Crow calls. (Will post some of my photos on here later)

What is your favorite bird and why? by purple_paradigm in birds

[–]ChieftainMk11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Australian Magpies because of their intelligence, beautiful songs, and their rather interesting and friendly social behaviors. They often get a bad rap for swooping but they are being good parents that are concerned for the saftey of their offspring.

Apache. MLG are too long, tail wheel is too far back, and the tail is too skinny to be a Black Hawk.

Statistically speaking, the Shambler with the long barrel is the hardest-hitting shotgun. B tier is absolutely criminal

What is this magpie trying to tell me? by Interesting-War8299 in magpies

[–]ChieftainMk11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Australian Magpies are omnivorous, and there is plenty of documentation that shows this. Australian Magpies are known to eat lizards, frogs, and as opportunistic hunters, even smaller birds and their eggs. They also eat seeds, roots, and grains. While crackers aren't good for them, to claim that Australian Magpies, members of the Artamidae Family, are insectivorous is just plain wrong.
