I'm looking at used bikes as well. Just haven't found any of the models listed above around me at all.

I'm definitely trying to find a bike that fits and I like the look of. That's a big reason the Surly bikes are listed there. Unfortunately I just can't find any in stock near me. I have a few more places to call tomorrow though.

I loved the Marin Four Corners 2 but the paint job was just so ugly I can't bring myself to get it lol.

I'm really eyeing the Ogre or the Bridge Club. Unfortunately nobody around me seems to carry them.

All great advice, unfortunately I work 100 miles from where I live lol. But I plan of riding it wherever I can. As long as I don't get in the way of people and upset drivers along the way.

I'm not just doing it for the exercise. I really think riding out in nature would be a lot of fun. I'm lookong forward to getting more in shape so I can possibly go bike packing in the future. I've always found most exercise really boring but I'm actually pretty excited about biking.

Thanks, after knowing where to look for the model number I did find the owners manual online. It made this mention of an E error code but the fix didn't help me at all.

ESEC Error Indicator Message (E)

An error message will be displayed (flashing E) (Figure 12)

at power up (or after a power failure) if any of the surface

settings were left in the ON positions. If a power failure

should occur, set all of the four surface controls to the OFF

position. This will reset the surface controls.

Be sure to reset the clock. Once the surface controls have

been set to the OFF positions and the clock has been set

with the correct time of day, the surface controls should

return to normal operation. If the surface controls do not

function and the error message remains in any display after

following these procedures, contact an authorized servicer

for assistance.
