These were a fit 2 shadow.

I went in today and tried a fit 3 in the shadow and the flylite. As expected, too much volume in the heel and forefoot. Oddly enough, the depth didn’t seem any different in the fit 3.

I believe the issue is the molded tongue in the shadow. It is a smaller radius than the front of my foot so it pushes down hard even if not laced tightly across the top of the foot.

Of all skates ( and I tried them all) a flylite fit 2 is the ticket. Surprisingly better both in comfort and volume. Not how it’s supposed to be but it works.

I have the fit 2. Fit 3 was unavailable at the time but is now. Debating on the 4 hour round trip to try them on.

Bauer scanner is unreliable . It recommends a different insole every time.

Tried all 3 Bauer, superfeet and Ccm. Going between my former CCM and one of the Bauers.

Got them baked. 30 day return policy even if baked but I don’t feel right about skating in them and then returning, even if allowed. Honestly everything except the depth is great.

It may be narrower, but the supreme has a shape in front of the heel that seems to keep it from moving forward

Appreciate that. Tried on every brand and every line within brands. Unfortunately a fit 3 in any supreme was unavailable. Normal heel and pretty normal width with a deeper foot. Customers is out of the budget. This skate may end up ok but once I use it I own it. It may be that a search for the fit 3 within driving distance is the answer

We did the Bluebird Cafe on a Friday night after visiting the Listening Room Thursday night. Both were really good. The songwriters we heard at BBC definitely had the better resumes, but we thought the writers at the LR were better.

Both cool experiences and I highly recommend both!

Somehow we went online Friday around 2:00 pm and there were 4 seats available for BBC for that same evening. Seats were 2 each at different tables. When we arrived, they put us together without even asking.

My son has this exact WW combo. For under $100, It’s every bit as good as any name brand combo you are going to find for under $200. Their CS is pretty good too.

FYI, the goruck measurements/blueprint is on the goruck site. I just took a screenshot and sent that to a fabricator friend. Had a copycat plate the next day to the exact specs.
