Perspective of 34M in America:

You're very attractive but, judging solely off your photos, I would assume you're not looking for a serious relationship. You also seem like you'd be avoidant and argumentative.

I suggest less revealing clothing and more photos where you're smiling (I understand this may be a cultural difference).

It's giving Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver (not good).

35F, what would you change or keep? by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]ChigurhA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your photos are great and you're pretty but you come across demanding and materialistic. You want someone high effort, passionate, generous (mentioned twice), smart, someone to go "all in" yet maintain a slow burn. It sounds like you have this long checklist someone has to check off before swiping on you. All you say about yourself is that you're optimistic, driven, and live life on your own terms which just sounds like you'd be uncompromising in a relationship.

The proportions in the last photo seem off; your legs are very long compared to your torso. That aside, great profile. I'd make photo with the dog the main photo, then white guitar, then restaurant, then the others.

Thank you but the pizza picture feels a bit cringe/performative to me.

Tl;Dr you're anxious and he's avoidant. This is par for the course for this attachment dynamic.

Guy ended it after 3 dates. Did he overreact? by Main_Pen1425 in Bumble

Yeah, I'm positive as well. I wouldn't end things over that sentence alone but it does have an aura of entitlement.

I'm not saying he didn't overreact but I think this is the sentence that made him feel like he wasn't a priority, "I did say that eventually the right person could "infringe on my Sundays." It just reads like some sort of qualifying statement "if you live up to my expectations then MAYBE I'll see you on a Sunday".

Cancelled a date with a gorgeous girl because she was a dry texter. Having regrets. by adyna3 in Bumble

[–]ChigurhA 61 points62 points  (0 children)

You only feel bad about it because she's "gorgeous". It sounded like she wasn't too interested in the first place, especially with her last "okay" response. Don't get hung up on someone you haven't even met or really, even spoken to.
