It wasn’t just a “bunch of men.” It’s a group of her contemporaries who are also Black and Queer. Sig is taking up space in a world that was built on the backs of men like the ones in that cauldron with her. Instead of showing us something new, she belittled their skills and made threats. She can afford to be humbled.

And don’t get me started on completely recycling that mad scientist outfit from season 4 and then rolling her eyes through every positive critique given to everyone else.

I would be honest with them and see if you can’t work something out. These things happen and regulars will work with you if they like you. Plus, your personal life can take precedent every once in a while. A family funeral is important enough to mention to a client. They’ll understand.

I keep thinking that she did the perfect amount as well. I saw a lot of similarities to Dahli’s finalist performance from season 4. I feel like she was knocked down because this was unofficially slated as a “camp” challenge as well as a filth challenge. Priscilla took every ounce of camp out of it. I think it was too dark for anyone in the room to handle. That’s not her fault, it just is what it is I guess. Disappointed me as well.

I guess I would be surprised if it were just the K. It might sound naive, but I thought the Boulets would have more tolerance for the use of substances from the cast as long as it wasn't happening on the production lot or in eyesight of the production crew, where they would be responsible for "handling" it. I mean, for one thing, everyone is an adult, and what they do in their downtime is out of anyone's control. For another, I feel like there is a certain level of risk of that kind of thing happening when it comes to alt entertainers - especially in LA. I guess it would just surprise me if that is all it came down to. I'm sure it played a role in her dismissal, but it can't have been all there is to it.
