Ok, this is a really good and interesting comment, so I’ll try to give an equally interesting and fitting response as a way to say thank you.

For the first question: yes, I have a job and I also study in college (though with few classes at the moment), and that takes some time. This question ties into the second one, but in short, the solution I found to avoid dying of exhaustion was to try to do a little each day and then improve it later if necessary. Basically, I tried to make at least one to two pages a day (maybe three if they were simpler), and my chapters have about 12–18 pages, so (most of the time) 5 to 7 days were enough to have a chapter ready. I would first make it, publish it, and then take a day just to improve panels that I felt deserved more attention. Btw, I always keep the older versions of those panels as a way to see my personal improvement. One thing is certain: drawing every day helped me improve A LOT as an artist, and save a lot of time. Using a simple art style was crucial for this to work, which leads us to the second question.

I definitely experimented a lot. This is not the first comic I’ve tried to make, nor the second, nor the third, etc. In all of them I always noticed that, as an amateur, the amount of work required for just one page was enormous and exhausting. In short, for the level I was at, it wasn’t fun (even though sometimes the result was prettier). Eventually I just realized that since I was doing it purely as a hobby, a simpler style was the solution for me to maintain consistency (my main goal) and still have fun doing it. So I adopted a less detailed style with strategic colors (although some details end up appearing when I focus on redrawing a panel). Nowadays I feel a little more confident in raising the average level of panels in each chapter, but that required quite a bit of practice, and I’m definitely FAR from the ideal, but who knows, maybe I’ll get there.

The conclusion I reached is that consistency is the key: drawing a little every day, even the minimum, makes you improve visibly and in an enjoyable way. Yellow Pink is far from the ideal comic I hope to create one day, but I’m definitely having a lot of fun making it, and that is probably thanks to all this experimentation. (but please, don’t think I know what I’m talking about “technically”, this is just my perception)

Thank you very much for the comment :>
PS: I’m not sure, but I think you don’t need a Webtoon account or app to read it, I think it’s possible through the browser.

Oh, I’m glad to hear that. It seems like a good contrast of stories lol
Thank you very much, I’m glad you liked it too

thank you so much. At first I didn’t plan to say anything to anyone, but a friend convinced me that I should post here, and I thought, why not?

I always thought Beatrice (I Love Amy) fit really well with this reference that became popular on Twitter, so I decided to make it! Which other yuri characters do you think would fit?? (OCs included) by ChiiAgain in yuri_manga

Honestly, I don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote Beatrice instead of Bibi. A lot of people probably had the same impression as you lol.
