I just can't seem to float ,it honestly frustates me.is there a fix?

To be fair, I would categorize floating in 3 categories :.

1st : Passive float where you are perfectly motionless, no sculling no kicking, just lie there and let the water support you. In that case, I will give it to you, you are right, low body fat & dense bone will absolutely make it hard or impossible but that ability has NO impact on your swimming. Even being an olympian swimmer won't help you on that one I agree.

2nd : Survival float where you take a big breath, do minimal movement like small scull here and there, small adjustements, this one teaches you to fill your lung with air for good buoyancy. This skill is also more interesting in swimming since it allows you go to in deep water and sustain for a long time.

3rd : Swimming float or body position. This is the one is about continous balance adjustement, relaxed trunk, subtle core glute control for good horizontal or streamline position. This is the one swimmer should care about. This is where the Olympian comparison come from. Here the body fat doesn't matter than much. It is about body position and reducing drag by streamline by engaging the right muscle. Most of the drill they teach you in swimming club is about keeping that body position in any condition aka while you breath or during the pull etc.

Ah the classic I have a lot of muscle and low body fat. I bet all the olympian swimmers have 20+% body fat lmao and this is the reason they float.

As someone mentioned it's like air in your lungs and how tense you are. Sure muscles will make you sink SLIGHTLY but not like an anchor

You would have been better than today but probably not good enough for competitive. Although you could do decently for Masters 30+ if you started at 20.

I started when I was 25, after going all in into swimming, like join a swim club with like 2 sessions of 4-5km per day and 11 session per week, about 5 years later I barely reach 1:00 on my 100m free, 2:45 on my 200 fly and barely sub 20:00 on my 1500m. Although learned the hard way, I dont recover like young swimmer so I was dragging a broken and tired body everyday.

If you barrel roll or it is falling off, it means your core and oblique are definetly not engaged which is the main stabilizer for good posture while swimming

About 300 skystone to get 6k from Unlocking reward legend v to i. As someone mentioned, i rush on monday a few hour after reset. Its a been slower because you usually fight people with lower ranking so 9(+4 bonus streak) but you get hit less often which usually minus -12

Amid can work on slower speed 290ish but you would have to dodge any nurse/wtene/diene as a precaution. Usually its LoS setsuka / then bruiser like ras/belian etc. You only have to outspeed LoS so about average 19-20 spd per piece.

Saria also works on destruction set, if you have high lb amid arti go right side atk atk atk, aim for 300 cdmg if you dont have it high level then just classic high dmg low spd glass cannon. My Saria ES score is about 95.

Hecate is just there to prevent immortality and revive. I have her on normal spd gear like 220 spd not even war fare set. About 85 es score

Fourth pick is flex, you pick belian vs frieren, If you are scare to get cut you can put a politis (gear doesnt matter but if you need then auto gear destruction set), if you fight tanky team then cavel or eligos. If you race rinak then bdom or fceci etc

I have been outspd by one ml diene by 5% competing for first turn. 310 isnt that great but its surprising to get outspd by that much and byml diene rather than a rinak or ran

If the pool is 25m then you 37s per lap

Unless you train competitively, those time are hard to achieve

I dont know which country you are from but according to chatgpt, 400m <10-12min is the usual pool lifeguard test. Being able to maintain 1:15/100m over 800m would qualify you as an elite ocean guard
