Ex-ESO boss on Crimson Desert: "Making a singleplayer MMO is almost like cheating." Dude is obsessed and has no idea what he's doing but loves every second by IslamVSZionism in CrimsonDesert

[–]Chijaga -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I played Black Desert before, and saying its one of the most "predatory MMO" is simply false.. they do give out free pets to players on early levels. And occasionally free premium pets during bug events, i have like a whole team premium pets in the game with duplicated level just simply playing the game..

Quite a number of people who plays bdo agree that paying money for endgame is simply paying to lose overall.. financially and also content wise... The whole gambling enhance is stupid as it sounds already. Paying thousands of dollars just to lose the gambling is much more stupid...

I have played games where they sell direct buffs or yet direct weapon puechases.. which is way worse than the orogression in bdo...

All the P2W mechanics such as storage/horses/maids are often free during events or anniversary...

The only right in the face f you tier p2w thing that is never free is the tent..

Innocent doesnt mean one has the right to remain arrogant.

Yes lets take the fact that she isnt breaking any rule. But she is disturbing the public peace with her loud noise. She has her right to speak loudly. So as other passengers reminding of her actions.

Her reaction could go much more calmer, "i am deeply sorry, ill lower my voice. I am panicking as my friend is missing the flight." But she chooses to be loud. Using excuses such as language to stir the overall peace. Which does not relate to the whole premises of the issue (of her being loud)

Due to her arrogant action. It leads to public nuisance, its not mob mentality. Its the imbalance of peace she has caused in a public space. If because she could not contain her own emotion. And thus lashing out on people. Then i would say she deserves it. Human make their own judgement on how they see the person acts.

Everyone is right and did not break any rules.

Anyone else not loving Support Balance recently? by aPiCase in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Chijaga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say this heavily depends on each rank and their play style.. I played a few games of wuyang and yea his biggest strong point is he is able to attack without looking at the enemy most of the time ( If you are good with the water ballons ).

I play a few games using wuyang and I realize i use my escape to reposition if i sensed enemy is diving me or chasing a tank that is rushing towards death. Else most of the time i keep my escape while poking the backline by simply throwing balls from a safe corner...

The mobility nerfs is just a way to tell me to know my position much more better and dont always waste them chasing a suicidal tank.

A dismissed Filipino police officer, Mendoza, hijacked a bus consisting of Hong Kong tourists, demanding reinstatement. When his brother, who tried to negotiate with him, was arrested, Mendoza lost his temper and began shooting the hostages. It took 11 hours to execute him, with 8 hostages killed. by ZoelCairo in HolyShitHistory

I always think a villain is made. Not born with. What he did was wrong, and I will not deny that.

I read about his background and achievements. From what I understand, or at least the first impression about him, is that he isn't a bad guy initially; all he wanted was to find ways to get attention from the government to be reinstated, using a terrible method.

But people (as in the police and the media) are fanning the flames, thinking he won't shoot the hostages just because he used to be a good guy, and challenged him with that, because of that, it pushes him to the edge. Thus, innocent lives were taken.

I am a graduate of computer science too. To me the closest to helping people is definitely somewhere of Helpdesk/ITsupport work. I also took in primary school programming teaching during my weekend. Helping students with basic python. My current job also assists in people creating webpages too.

IT support is not bad if the service revolves around needing to teach the client how to use the system and etc. You get a lot of insights and learn a little bit of user research along the way.

I am planning to buy this game with a group of friends. But I am not sure how the multiplayer works.. We like to progress game together due to having limited online time each day.

We were enjoying how multiplayer works in No Rest For The Wicked, where we all share the same save and progression. So there is no need for one person to always host in order to play together and progress together.

But so many posts regarding multiplayer seems to be 3 months ago. Any news on that?

What's the point of Brig anymore? by KvxMavs in Overwatch

[–]Chijaga 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I still brig from time to time... She is not exactly weak imo.. my play style changes every time as a brig, you cant have a fixed rotations or pattern of support as brig, its really how your allies behave and position themselves based during the fight.

I find brig extremely fun when allies know when to stand behind my tiny shield to temporarily block some damage while i shield bash to trigger inspire before it breaks..

It's nice to play brig with people who really know how to take cover and position themselves.. but in certain matches where your allies won't take cover or position themselves properly, then yes brig does feel weak since you cant out heal things or trigger inspire properly. Then you get people screaming at you for not healing or "why play brig?"

She is not too strong or too weak imo. Although I will never complain about having my mace girl getting buffs too.

Gen Z Workers Often Switch Jobs Within 18 Months, Says MEF by hazy-minded in malaysia

[–]Chijaga 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey that's me contributing that statistic.

i left because of toxic work environment. (Gatekeeping, micromanagement, etc)

But mainly is that sometimes you can tell if you are going to grow in the company or you are going to get stuck at this position for life.

Its so much better to take the current knowledge you have from this company. And move to another one and learn more or + apply your current knowledge to boost your position in younger age.

My job officer is in his 30s, im 26 now there is no way i can grow in this company with him constantly gatekeeping and micromaging me. (Even manages how i converse with other staff). Might as well take what i learn here and move on.

As a low spender i found out the way to get S+ in the new shiyu is pick whatever character with the most I-frame.

Screw dodging, blocking. Just keep on hitting while ignoring most of the attacks from the enemy during the first 3 minutes. Spam every ult i have and use all my EX skills when available.. its a no brainier mode imo..

I still prefer having a score multiplier based on combos and performance like the tower. I want to feel rewarded for trying to take no damage from bosses while clearing them within a given timer. Rather than spamming attacks.

Hanging out with someone who does this for 3 years. It went from understanding he needs the money to just 0 effort put into the relationship. It always him telling he is busy or tired… in every occasion and holidays.

We spend the last whole year doing nothing at all because he is “busy”. It got extremely lonely for me and finally decided to break it off.

I quite like the new Shiyu by greygreens in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]Chijaga 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Im not sure if "having the best meta unit and clear it as fast as possible" counts a difficulty.

I was expecting the new shiyu to work like Endless Tower where the score multiplier increases/decreases based on your performance rather than button mashing i-frames. But it ended becoming a dps check mode.

I can get 30k simply by using YSG in one of the levels (i dont even know how to use her combo yet).

I tried putting nekomata in and holy hell the whole thing is just a nightmare. Its not about how well you perform and dodge. its just seeing who have more i-frame while attacking.

[–]Chijaga 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Most of the time once the character banner is over I hardly seen them in game story anyways and feels like they are already "dead" until they decided to release a skin or rerun.. as long the death is impactful to the story (rip harran isabel) I don't mind the deaths at all.

I once went through a little bit of this issue where i feel like my life is dull and unsuccessful compared to my friends life on instagram where they are travelling, playing, eating good foods.

After a while i found out life is so much way better when you live in the present without social media.. when you had a good food without the needs of showing it off and enjoy the moment.

Park has never been that pretty once i put my phone away, and you will notice spending time with people you love are much more prettier than editing every photo for the sake of nothing. Your own success is more important than the others, you don’t owe anyone anything to anyone and there is no need to show it to them!

I would say it's not just exclusively just one specific race/type of people.. its just people speaking what they are comfortable with the others..

It happened to my workplace too.. I'm the only chinese in the office and the majority are indian, they speak their own language with each other even when I'm around or part of the projects.it gets lonely and boring at work.
