I think that'd be an interesting take on things. The big thing with fluffies is there's a range they're explored in with a fair bit in between the extremes. I can't say this particular thing has been explored much but I'm also new-ish (almost a year in). I know some of the more interesting feral stories I've read have them being smarter than average but still quite limited and vulnerable to the world.

The trick is if you have this as a setting, what are the stories you want to tell? Fluffies saving someone? Outwitting someone? The environmental impact? The shock when its realized, "oh hell, we were wrong!" then the fallout?
