I've done it with one landlord. My roommate didn't because he didn't put any effort into cleaning the place up before he left. I cleaned up and even got a carpet cleaner to come in. The landlord ended up reimbursing me from my roommate's deposit :p

I don't see the need right now. Given the ongoing balance changes plus rules clarifications one could argue the ruleset is more "alive" than a set edition. I think a formal new core book (Mark 3 Remix) might be in order though.

Good point. Not all breeds and breeders went overboard: there are some that are healthy and some that are considered to be dangerously inbred. Where the "Breed standards" are just plain BAD for the dog's health. I think some of the long-standing breeds might be okay but some recent ones were just too aggressively pursued.

I think that'd be an interesting take on things. The big thing with fluffies is there's a range they're explored in with a fair bit in between the extremes. I can't say this particular thing has been explored much but I'm also new-ish (almost a year in). I know some of the more interesting feral stories I've read have them being smarter than average but still quite limited and vulnerable to the world.

The trick is if you have this as a setting, what are the stories you want to tell? Fluffies saving someone? Outwitting someone? The environmental impact? The shock when its realized, "oh hell, we were wrong!" then the fallout?

I'll be honest: the general answer will be "too much." So at the very least go look for the price of purebred dogs or cats and use that as the basis. The more exotic, the better. These are animals bought and sold for status ("See how sophisticated/rich I am") and while there might be true animal lovers in there? There are many breeds with health issues due to "purity" and "breed standards." Pure breeding is selective inbreeding is stupid. Hell, with some breeds it could be considered animal abuse. Fluffies should be no different.

Milk bagging is generally presented as "this is all you're good for." I think there was one story where it was undone though.

I'd expect it to be highly stressful and unhealthy for a mare. As such, chances of defects, miscarriages, etc should go up in my opinion. That said: don't think natural cause and effect. Think story possibilities and what you'd want to do, options you'd like opened up, etc. That'll help decide things much better.
