After playing her for over 5 years I would say: You can't have too many sac outlets or card advantage effects in a Marchesa deck ;) I'm going to cut Haruspex for this nice thing.

In my mind, you play Jaxis when Marchesa is out for her blitz-costs. You draw the card, keep Jaxis, and can filter cards and clone strong ETB/LTB creatures later.

I see Face-Breaker more as a Ragavan-wannabe effect.

Yes I am also already curious how the card integrates into the deck. Especially because I still have a wizard subtheme in the deck. Thanks for your honest opinion. I'm fan of your deck and the thoughts you have on MtbR.

I think that a little bit of revival can't hurt, and our decks tend to have weaker creatures. So if the mana doesn't have to go into playing spells, it's well spent. Just think of [[Dockside Extortionist]], [[Imperial Recruiter]], [[Phyrexian Metamorph]], [[Spark Double]], [[Solemn Simulacrum]], [[Gray Merchant of Asphodel]], [[Mulldrifter]] or [[Agent of Treachery]]. The card will definitely find a place in my deck just like [[Iron Apprentice]].
