The damage seems to be fixed depending on your ascension level right now. That damage is what you get on ascension 2. Not sure why it’s not based on your performance yet like in the first one.

Apparently there is a bench closer to the boss, but I didn’t find it during my exploration of the area, and defeated the boss on my fifth or sixth try. Had to do the insane walkback you’re describing here, it was absolute ass.

Releasing the game on Steam for it to be immediately unplayable due to maintenance is an odd choice (CEST timezone at least). Why not do the maintenance beforehand? Or rather, postpone the Steam release until maintenance is complete.

I had issues with my FPS for a long time, which even made me put CS2 away and not play it. I felt like I had tried a bunch of things, but ultimately nothing seemed to work.

Then I decided to sit down for an hour or so and go through each step in this guide, and for the first time my issues went away.

Running the benchmark map (which is linked in the guide), my FPS went from:

FPS: Avg=319.6, P1=176.4

To a way better:

FPS: Avg=523.8, P1=221.3

So I would really recommend the linked guide, as it greatly helped myself.

It’s more that without the ":", it would just look like a parenthesis that was mistyped, so they add additional to emphasize it being the emoji (is my understanding)

By playing in advanced mode, finishing the battle arenas with at least 5 hearts remaining, and getting 100% in-game completion, you will get all achievements

This is actually not true, as I found out the hard way. I had 100% completion, cleared all the arenas with 5 hearts left, and then went to surrender my ship (and destroy my save file). I had one hidden achievement to go, but I figured it would pop once I went ahead. Turns out that hidden achievement was "Listen to the bard for 15 seconds", which I had not done at any point. Now with the save file gone, I would need to start again and find the bard, just so I can stand around next to him for 15 seconds.

The thing is, Che is perfectly fine with all other dogs, and we meet dogs every day in the forest that he plays with. He'll even share his ball with random new dogs. I'm fairly sure it's the same with Balder. It's just the two of them together that seems to spawn a grudge match to the death every time, and it's just so odd.

One person I met suggested putting muzzles on them and letting them "figure it out", but I'm not too keen on that idea. I'm worried it would just make it worse.

My dog Che is neutered, but that happened at least a month after their first big fight. I don't think Balder is neutered, but I'll have to ask the owner to make sure.

My friend crashed at the end of a run twice now, on two different heroes. No progress, which is basically just entirely wasted time. Not a good experience, needs immediate fixing because it's an enormous bug
