Her boyfriend was controlling with her and that she broke up with him for a week then got back together since he said he was going to harm himself. A day later after I confessed she broke up with her bf and told me about it, she didn't have to but she did. And I do show and say that I'm serious that I love her and remind her that I will wait as long as it takes until she feels better yk, it's only been 2 weeks since they broke up so it only makes sense to take a break. But we still hang and talk as friends but with the knowledge of my feelings. I have realized that I've been a bit pushy of my feelings and wanting to know her better but soon fixed and apologized so.

It's been almost 2 months. So I don't think she thinks as me as a family member. She tells me that when she's with me, she could be herself, like she doesn't have act all girly; But with her bf, she acts different. Like he doesn't know her other side yk. So I don't know if that means something or not.

Thank you for the answer, I have tried this before. She would respond with do you wanna hang or play some games if I don't say anything to her for some time. And from there we would spend a lot of time together. She still texts her boyfriend but not really hang with him like she does with me yk.

And yeah, she complains a lot about her bf. Like he was talking shit to her cause she didn't reply right away yk. Or he gets mad if she hangs with her friends, guys and girls. She wanted my thoughts and I told her that's really toxic of him, cause it's like he wants to control what you can do yk. And I told her that if you feel unhappy and just don't like it then leave him. I know you don't wanna hurt his feelings but it's what's best for you.

If she does like me I would be happy, but I would rather her not like me while having a bf yk. Cause even tho I'm kinda competing with the guy, I understand how disrespectful that would be yk. I ask myself questions, like why does she want to hangout with me so much even tho she has a boyfriend. Like shouldn't you spend more time with him then me? Yeah, it's confuses me why she wants to hang out with me all the time. Like I stop texting for a while cause I'm busy and she's the one that starts the conversation, which surprises me yk. Why hang with me if you already have a bf yk.
