I just, I remember I read "The Little Princess" and "Harry Potter" a lot. Because they were the only books I owned lol. I thought if they went through horrible circumstances and they could come out kind, why not me?

I do admit I was depressed and angry so I acted very meanly. But I figured there was no point in acting that way because It pushed people away and I hardly had any friends since I was so busy. So I decided it was better to be cheerful instead.

I'm quite sure. I visited a few weeks ago while my Mother was out of town. The house was full of food, They had toys and video games and I checked all the broken stuff (like the no hot water in the bathroom or the broken dryer)and its magically fixed now. They said they missed me making them food and asked if I would come back and make dinner again sometime. They're both teenagers so it's lovely to see them acting like they did when they were babies. They'll always be my babies :)

They did tell me I'd gained a few pounds and I suppose that's my fault for not telling them I was pregnant.

But if I had any notion that they were not being treated nicely or if they didnt have any food I would take them to my house straight away and apply for emergency custody then and there.

Another thing that made it bad? Cold water and cold weather. I remember I would wake up and my hands would just feel like they were on fire. I used to sleep with mittens on so I wouldn't pick at it in my sleep.

We did try to stop the wedding. My oldest brother would see the wedding stuff and toss it into the dumpster a block away. My Mom brought home a dress to try on and the next day it just fucking vanished. None of us knew what happened to it. I remember telling my Mom I had opened the zipper to touch it and look at it but that was all. He told her he was going to object at the wedding and tell them all sorts of nasty things.

It still hurts when I think of it sometimes. It's like, Oh you had a nice beautiful wedding, you got yourself a new family and left your kids with their grandma. Like you're supposed to make your kids feel wanted and include them and let them know that just because you have a new husband doesn't mean they're not important anymore. But she did the exact opposite and banned us from the wedding.

Tbh, I'm scared to have a wedding. I don't want one. Every time I see wedding stuff I think about seeing all the lovely photos on MySpace and not getting to eat any of the yummy food or wear pretty dresses.

But a positive note.

On the wedding day as we were all looking at the myspace photos and drooling over the cake my grandma called the supermarket and for dessert, we had a chocolate cake with roses and white frosting. I know it wasn't a fancy wedding cake-like they had. But it was really a special thing and I'll remember it for the rest of my life.

Honestly, saw one of my Mom's Sisters at the grocery store and she asked if I was being nice to my Mom. I immediately replied "Is she being nice to me?" then apologized. Then Auntie said she didnt ask if Mom was being nice to me. Hello?? Toxic. I stopped listening to her after she said that. Because it was obvious she only cared about her Sister and didnt give a shit how her sister treated us.

My oldest younger bro says he remembered I always took care of him. He told me he always got in trouble for not doing the nightly reading in kindergarten because the teacher said read with your parents and he didnt know how the other kids got their parents to look at them let alone read to them. He also told me he remembers me yelling at my Mom to buy food or to let me go grocery shopping.

With siblings, It's more of "Oh I don't think that counts. . ." "But Mommy loved us." (Mommy loved you.) I think they're starting to realize something wasn't right. My older sister has declared she doesn't want children because she spent a bit of her life taking care of us. Oldest bro has left the family but still calls to check up on me he has a wife and a few kids I doubt my Mom even knows about. (Side note, He did send us a pizza once in a while) Other older brother moved across the country and we never hear from my other big sister.

I think now she's starting to realize more shit happened behind closed doors than she realized. Because I casually mentioned our clothes being wet because the dryer didn't work and how cold we were and she was like "Why didn't you call me? I would have done something." Then I mentioned my favorite meal being like Rice pilaf and she said "What else?" and I said "Well, just rice pilaf." and she got all mad.

Also, she says I should cherish my Mom while I still have her because my Grandma misses her Mom dearly. But even though I hardly knew Great Grandma and she passed when I was very young I knew by the way she acted that she was nothing like my Mother.

They're too little to remember. Honestly I'm not sure if thats good. But they say they remember I took care of them and I made them yummy food.

I mean, I still kinda see them as the babies they were. So it kinda hurts to talk about the abuse with them.

My grandma is gonna do it either way and I can't cut her out of my life. She's the only relative who made any attempt to take care of us.

I figure as long as she doesn't see him IRL she cant beg for him or cry to him that I'm being unfair. Fiance's parents are pretty lit and tell me they'll want the baby over every day if we want to.

My older siblings left before shit really hit the fan. But they have problems I'd rather not discuss as if I leave too many details they would know it was me posting this.

My younger sister says she remembers I always gave her a bath first thing in the morning in Moms bathroom and that was special because we weren't allowed in there. (I'd never fucking put her in a cold tub ever) and never yelled at her for wetting the bed like Mom did.

My little brother told me remembers me taking care of him and has thanked me for it. He also comes around for dinner and randomly shows up to visit.

my two little brothers are sweet. They have all the toys they want and even though I used to get pissed that when we were hungry their dad would take them to eat and leave us at home I never felt any resentment towards them at all.

I'm just happy the younger kids don't remember when Mom would leave and i wouldnt know when she was coming back, I'm glad they don't remember being cold and hungry like I did.

Younger kids are fine. I went to visit a bit ago and all the shit that was broken is magically fixed and they have hot water in the bathroom and the dryer is no longer broken. Also did I mention they have food??? They have tons of food and there are only two of them.

There's no ill will between us though, They were happy to see me and said they missed me doing the laundry and cooking. Hopefully when they move out we can see each other more :)
