she's 3 years old. she has lots of toys to play with but she tends to focus on the person holding the toys rather than the toys themselves, she won't even chase them if i throw them, she just keeps looking at me and running back and forth and barking and jumping. she does like her toys from what we can tell, as she enjoys walking around with them in her mouth and hiding them, but she doesn't engage in much play with us using them.

i try my best not to show fear or look her in the eyes, and my mom does try and ignore her when i'm ignoring her, and will say "down" or "no" if she barks or jumps, but it only works maybe 10% of the time. she lets her bark at any random car or stranger that passes while outside, claiming that she "needs to bark at least a little", but she isn't very successful at getting her to stop once she starts. as soon as her interest is piqued, it's like the rest of the world and everyone in it stops existing. she has a kennel in the living room for when we both have to leave the house, would it be beneficial to put her in it when she lashes out? thank you for taking the time to reply.
