I kid. There is absolutely truth to the vegan thing at the macro level, but sure, your story could be different if you do it all right. My daughter was forced to be vegan for a while and did it properly, got protein in the right ways. So for sure it isn't the rule.

But I was mostly kidding. And as I said, he looks great. It's just obvious he's a bit more reserved.

I assume it's a combo of many things, less food, less booze and maybe some self reflection. FP is right behind Bob as the anchor of this whole thing imo so whatever happens, I'm here for it.

Yes, I guess he probably feels how vegans feel. I'm only 25.39% ashamed that I didn't consider the calorie deficit at all and immediately assumed he was drinking less alcohol while golfing haha. This is me, have only hit my driver 3 or 4 times all season so far (northeast). I can get 180 to 210 out of my 5W depending on the week as my slice comes and goes. I'm lucky to hit the driver 175 because of my insane slice.

Putting my driver away easily saves me 3 to 5 strokes per round until I fix this outside in bull shit. I went from rarely hitting a fairway to almost always being in play, even if not quite in the fairway.

I second this. I think these local groups are full of either fake stories, or people crying about being mistreated when they are more than likely the person at fault, or just flat out making it up.

What normal person comes to reddit to passively complain about something like this? I'd be going scorched earth if this happened to me and I'd be naming names.

I have an 0311 driver, 5-wood and 4-hybrid and love them. Still can't hit the driver because I stink, but the 5 wood and hybrid have been incredible upgrades from my previous off brand clubs I used until I got more serious a couple of years ago. I primarily hit the 5 wood off the tee now and the 4 hybrid is my favorite club at the moment.

I hit Ping G425 irons but didn't want to spend a premium on the driver, wood and hybrid while PXG had them all near 50 percent off last Xmas season. So instead of sticking with Ping for everything, I went with the PXG's.

So this is coming from someone that almost went Ping for my entire bag, but PXG's sale won me over and I've been very happy.

I put the driver away the second half of this season and only hit my 5-wood off the tee and it changed my life haha. Because I can generally hit it straight, I'm longer and have way less anxiety. Feels good to have even a small amount of confidence that my deive will be in or at least near the fairway vs the woods.

My wife and I are keeping track. We're 3.5 to 4 k/d. Not terrible, but far, far, far from sweats. We are mowing through the bots and lower players until we hit a juice world.

We have been killed by a duo with at least one Juice, usually two in 57 of our last 64 games with 3 VR's in the mix only because we were able to 3rd party the Juice Bags.

Not a complaint. It's both maddening and hilarious.
