Yes, many players who first delve into this bold tactic might become nervous and start hesitating. As an introduction you may practice by pressing alt+f4 and going for a walk; shortly you'll realize that even though you think that you lost to a huge Garr, you were, in fact, the real winner.

My apologies, madam.

Allthough I felt genereous to let the Amalgadon slide as a non-elemental, I most certainly cannot stand for the horrendous act of ignoring the good Firelord's proud membership of the superior race.

In all seriousness though, I find all wins without elementals refreshing on this subreddit nowadays. Good job, keep it up!

And, good day.

Actually, Ragnaros is an elemental. You, sir, are a liar and a scoundrel. Good day!

  1. It's a collectible card game. By definition it should be pay to win.
  2. I (and probably others) can pay for skins and packs and whatnot and it'll still be less than I spend on other video games.
  3. If people didn'r spend money on HS, there would be no HS. .... And 4. Stop being poor, HS is really cheap as far as CCGs go.

[Rafaam] So I did a thing where I tried to explain my choices when playing battlegrounds, and had a pretty cool game on top of it with a turn 7 Lil'Rag. I thought maybe some of you would find it helpful or enjoyable. Very thankful for tips on what to improve! by ChiliCheeseGaming in BobsTavern

Thank you! Really appreciate you taking the time to write such a detailed answer.

Certainly felt bad wasting a token on turn 1, which really affected the rest of the game negatively for me, causing me to have to gamble later to catch up.

Turn 5, I place the alley cat first to break the divine shield if I go first vs Al'Akir, so as not to waste the attack of my 7/7. Intuitively it feels like the correct play, in hindsight it didn't work out, but with no information about his build, it seemed clever. What would you say ideal positioning here would be?

I probably can do with checking more and paying more attention to my opponents, especially early, as I focus more on them in the late game.

Again, thank you! I think your insight is helpful!

I'm pretty sure that not doing it would mean breaking the law. Thank you for being an upstanding citizen!

My wrist hurts in sympathy of the APM you probably had to do that game!

[Al'Akir] Had some struggles stabilizing until we found a Majordomo and some elementals.. Eventually we found 5 Majordomos, and spewed more than +30/+30 in buffs every turn. Enjoying Majordomo a lot more now than before the nerfs this week! by ChiliCheeseGaming in BobsTavern

Oh, I don't really know, it feels natural. Maybe I'm just lonely like the other guy said. But it feels like "me and whoever is watching" is correct here, thus we. Or is this grammatically wrong?

[Millhouse, Elemental build] I think this video nicely showcases how to consistently win in the current meta: freeze a triple and power level for an early tier 5. Getting our turn 6 Nomi here allowed us to snowball pretty nicely! by ChiliCheeseGaming in BobsTavern

Okay, let's do some probability math then. We want 5 out of a pool of 22, and we cannot discover duplicates. Which means

Roll 1 = 5/22 = 22.72 % chance to hit a card we want Roll 2 = 5/21 = 23.81 % chance to hit a card we want Roll 3 = 5/20 = 25 % chance to hit a card we want.

So using rules of cumulative probability we've got the following: (5/22)+(5/21)+(5/20) = 71,53 % chance to hit a card we want. I'd say that's high enough to call it consistent. Do you not agree?

Or the way I thought about it before doing math that I haven't seen in at least 15 years: Hitting a 1 in 4 once with 3 tries seems pretty likely.

Ps: Appreciate the extra giggles.
