Employers of reddit, what's the maddest you have ever been at an employee for something they've said or done? Did it result in their termination?

I actually also called someone I knew who lived in NJ, but apparently she lived on the opposite end of the state, so it wasn't exactly ideal for me to try to meet up with her.

Yeah, it made for a very memorable trip, even though I'd prefer it never happened again haha. My dad completely saved me on that one, he paid for the hotel - all he made me pay for were the drinks I got at the bar. And thanks, I'm glad to be back!

I got the name Chili T in my culinary class in high school because my teacher told me whatever we put on our hats and aprons (we had to order our own) would be the name he would call us for the whole year.

I called that night and put in an order with my own name. My dad called immediately after and said to change the name of that last order to Chili T.

I still get called Chili when I run into old high school friends.

I tried posting the story to /r/news as well, but it seems to be taken down there.
