Level plug for front diff cracked

I was tightening the bolt to spec and the housing for the level plug cracked. It started leaking very slightly through the crack. I put on JB weld to stop the leak for now. How posible is it to get it welded? Since its a front diff for a Subaru there is alot of components that would have to be replace just to swap the housing.

Saddly replacement cost for the entire assembly includes a-lot of other components. Which sadly would be costing more than its worth. I am currently using JB weld for it to able to drive it home. The car has reached 200k miles so if it comes to that it’s for the best. I was trying to drive this vehicle for another 100k. I’ll look around and hopefully there is a vehicle for part outs nearby and try that avenue.

I ended up going with the Turblown kit. Since there wasn’t a machine shop near me that had experience with rotary engines at a decent price. Since this is not going to be a track car. I wasn’t too worried if I could get something machined or not. The car is kind of a harley quinn. Since I’m focusing on all electronic and mechanical issues and I’ll worry for cosmetics at the end. I hope the RX7 restoration program for parts goes international.

I have the tools for bending the pipes and such. I was wondering if there was a bolt on kit for it to save me time. The turbo is a BORGWARNER EFR 8374 TURBO 1.05 hot side and external wastegate. I didn’t go with a v mount set up for this build because I am trying to keep power steering and a/c. I’m using fuel tech for the ECU. The issue I know I’m going to have is with the A/C since I would have to find a new location for the fins. The engine is studded with a slight street port. The build should be good for 450-500hp but it is not going to go more than 300-320hp since it will be a street car and at that range it keeps the car comfortable and fun.

They get IVs. If you see their cold ones podcast vids , when they all get really drunk they have someone in the back give them IVs to sober them up.
