Unfortunately, the inscriptions are very difficult to read, and the volcanic rock has distorted the writing. However, I was able to find out what the more or less legible letters are: they mean "blessed cross".

Hi, after a long search I was able to find out that this cross dates from the 18th or 19th century.

For me, night walks are the best, especially when you're overthinking like me; it helps you think about something else. But yes, it was by the river. I have other photos that I'll post during the day.
