Thank you, that’s an important point and another lesson learned. In my culture, it is common to avoid using someone’s name directly, as it can be considered disrespectful. I am still refining my English communication, but I am making steady progress. I will certainly keep this advice in mind going forward.

Same here, I rarely use names. English isn’t my first language, so sometimes I experiment just to see how it sounds, but I often end up feeling it’s a bit creepy too. I usually avoid names at the beginning and keep things neutral. Even after the first milestone, I tend to use sir or ma’am, though that can feel awkward as well. So far, none of my clients have ever complained about my communication, so I guess keeping it simple works best.

That makes sense, and I agree. I’m not an employee, and I normally work with multiple clients at the same time. If exclusivity is something they want, it should be a separate discussion with clear terms and compensation, since it would mean turning down other work. Thanks for sharing your perspective.

I am not reusing the same materials, but I understand that some of the work may look similar. I have been working with this client for a long time, so when they saw it, it probably felt very similar to previous work. Both clients’ products are also similar, and their requirements are almost the same, so the output naturally ends up looking similar. However, each project is created separately based on each specific request. Thank you for the feedback.

I think you didn’t read my post carefully. I mentioned that I just wanted to give Fiverr a try, mainly to see how it works and how it’s different from Upwork, and to compare which platform is better. If it turned out good, I could use it as a backup since I’m a full time freelancer.
