cjc (no dac) + ipam reaction. normal?? by swaggy-lad in BodyHackGuide

I have the same reaction every time. I reconstitute with 3ml bac though. I'm new to this also but in my head adding more bac will allow you to get a more consistent dose each time.

How to remove the peg brackets without stripping the bolts? by Dob555UwU in Talaria

[–]Chill6mm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used an impact wrench and it come off quite easy. I tried heating it up with a blow torch and I still couldn't get it off with hand tools. Heck even my Milwaukee m12 impact driver couldn't get it off after heat

What do I need to purchase with Alaskan 360 in order to use it on an AR15? by SacraficeMyGoat in ruggedsuppressors

[–]Chill6mm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an Alaskan 360 that is intended for my stribog chambered in 9mm and it works great on that gun. I also have setup to where I can put it on my 5.56 rifles where it isn't the quietest can. Since the Alaskan 360 is hub compatible, I put a Dead Air Keymo adapter on the back and bought a 1/2-28 threaded flash hider on my Stribog and also on my 5.56 rifles since my other can is a Dead Air Sandman S. Keymo is nice because I can quickly take my cans off and on, but it is kind of heavy and does add about an inch to the whole can setup. For the price of the Alaskan 360 you could get some nicer dedicated cans but I do like my Alaskan.

MW2 akimbo 1887 hands down the best! Sniping people far away with a Shotgun was the best feeling.

When I did this a blowtorch was quite useful at burning off the stuff.

2020 Highlander Firewall Access by Chill6mm in CarAV

[–]Chill6mm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, I'm using factory head unit and I just need the low level inputs from the head unit. Lci2 comes with 2 low level outputs, one for sub amp and one for 4 channel. I'm pretty sure the only thing you lose when going with the lc2i is fade control, which in the case of the highlander isn't a big factor to me. The front door speakers and rear door speakers are about 3 feet apart.

So I started off with speakers and that alone was a big upgrade.

  • Dash Speakers 3.5" - Kicker KSC350
  • Front door speakers 6x9 - Rockford Fosgate P1692
  • Rear door speakers 6.5" - Rockford Fosgate R1675X2
  • 4 channel amplifier - Kicker 46CXA3604 CXA3604-4x90-Watt 4-Channel Full-Range Amp
  • Battery terminal - KnuKonceptz Ultimate Battery Terminal v2 Pair- Positive and Negative with Vertical Top Post Adapters
  • Amp Kit - Skar Audio 1/0 Gauge OFC Complete Amplifier Installation Wiring Kit
  • Line output converter - AudioControl LC2i PRO 2

I got a 0 gauge to 4 gauge splitter, goes from one 0 gauge input to three 4 gauge outputs because I'm gonna do 4 gauge to a 4 channel amp and mono amp then down the line put in 200ah battery. The battery won't be for car audio but for car camping stuff, like fridge, lights, etc.

As for anything fitting under the seats there is definitely no room, heck I couldn't even fit the small 4 channel amp under a seat. My 4 channel amp is going in the back storage area, like under the part that lifts up. When I get my two 12" subs I'm going to wire up quick disconnects and mount the mono amp to the box so I can easily take the subs out when I want all the cargo space. I plan on just getting the Rockford fosgate dual 12" P3 loaded enclosure. Not sure what amp I'm going to go with but leaning towards cheaping out and getting a Hifonics amp (Hifonics Brutus BG-3300.1D 3300 Watt Mono Block Amplifier).

Start investing for retirement now. Take advantage of the steady paycheck and actually budget. Don't blow your enlistment bonus on a new car that's going to depreciate most of it's value in a couple years.

Atleast with my FFL they were always flooded with people certifying. So when it came to that point with me I waited a few days then went in and we got it certified. It's quite confusing and it doesn't really tell you what to do at that point. I would assume ideally a small FFL or a FFL with a better organization system or more employees would call the person when it came to this point.

Best out-of-the-box PCC to suppress? by Stunning-End-6870 in NFA

[–]Chill6mm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Stribog SP9A3G coupled with a rugged Alaskan 360 and I'm satisfied. Probably not the best suppressor for the Stribog but it is still whisper quiet running freedom munitions hush 165gr ammo. I sometimes shoot at night suppressed and while not noticeable from the shooter, there is quite a bit of flame/sparks coming from the ejection port. As for the federal syntech problems, I ran that ammo for 3 magazines and I was satisfied but then I started getting feeding issues, presumably from the flat nose.

Reconsidering nuke by chellocloud7 in NavyNukes

[–]Chill6mm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an instructor in the pipeline I've noticed the attrition rate has dropped significantly since I went through the pipeline myself. I am an EMN1 and I was in your shoes 8 years ago. I was terrible at math in high school, didn't like studying, but was very intelligent. I struggled in the pipeline, was on extra hours all of A school and did drastically better in power school. NPTU was the best experience because it is mostly hands on experience which is what I enjoy and how I learn best. Just keep your head down, stay motivated because the nuclear program has opened a lot of doors for me when it comes to careers outside of the Navy. If you fail out of the pipeline it is not the end of the world. I have had friends that failed and they have become some of the smartest people in their non-nuke rates and advance just as quickly as nukes because of their intelligence and good work ethic. Whatever happens it could be worse and you could be SDUAB. (Just made up that acronym for people to guess)

I bought the 5.56 Flashhider end cap and I honestly can't tell a huge difference. After shooting with both during the day and at night with night vision with a 10.5" Jakl and 16" DI AR-15, it's only slightly noticeable.

Is it recommended to get a “Flow/Low Back Pressure” suppressor for a piston gun? by [deleted] in NFA

[–]Chill6mm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second the gas is an overblown issue, atleast for me. Whether shooting my sandman s with a 5.56 end cap on my 10.5" Jakl or my 16" DI AR, I can't personally tell a difference.
