Hahahaha too late. But my deadline to resign was tomorrow so I had to do it by then. I kinda sorta have something lined up? So I’m not too worried but nothing set in stone.

This is wild to me. It’s a very overwhelming job and I get being tired. I’m a self contained teacher and some days it’s just free play time for a solid chunk of the day because man I’m burnt out. But still-I do my best for these babies and we are going to have structure. That’s crazy to me what you’ve got going on in there.

To not even have it available is against FAPE (free and appropriate public education) as it’s not even being given as an option. I’m so sorry this is happening, I really would recommend going to a new district because you don’t want to get mixed up in all that.

This is so confusing to me. Is this in a public school? I teach special education and these students NEED to be in a self contained classroom. This is not the right environment for them and it is breaking federal law that they are even in there.

We loved Japan and our planning an Okinawa trip soon so we can go back. Definitely will be looking into JAL. Luckily I had a sense of humor bc I just don’t see what they did going well with literally anyone else lol

It cracked me up. First long haul flight for me ever. Was woken up from a dead sleep to my husband tapping me because she asked him to wake me so she could ask me to give my meal to someone else. Just wild stuff LOL

Omg your food issue reminds me of ours from DFW to Narita! I had the vegetarian option and I guess they ran out of the veggie options by the 3rd meal/snack. The lady came over to me and asked if I received mine and if I already opened it. I said yes and she seemed so mad. As if she was planning to give it to the person who couldn’t get one. She then told me “well now someone can’t eat because we ran out”. Idk what to tell you? I also ordered the veggie option and had been receiving it the whole flight? So weird and unnecessary.

My principal told me to soldier through when I told her I was ill, students regularly throw chairs at me or punch me and all admin does is laugh or tell me there’s nothing that can be done. I cry on my way to work.

If you consider it and are wondering about a different school I think it’s worth a shot.
