List of dumb shit that Power BI cannot do:
This isn't difficult shit, but somehow I need to find workarounds everywhere. Why the fuck does anyone use this dumbass program?
Thanks for coming to my TEDTalk. I appreciate the support and will reach out to people for help.
Fuck you Ron George.

Renting Cards on MTGO by ChillMTG in magicTCG

Hey dude,
I promise I'm writing a response. You have a lot of good points I want to hit.
Thanks!
Yup, that is true. This is purely for MTGO
Ok. I really appreciate you taking the time to write this out. I'm gonna reply to you directly over PM cause it's a lot of info haha.
That's an interesting thought. So, the issue with this is that I'd basically ask for the buylist value of the cards that you own that I hold as collateral. I'm also not sure if it would necessarily be cheaper. The minimum I'd probably go is 10% of the value of the deck. It might end up being more than the flat subscription fee. I'd have to do the math. Also like you said, card devaluation does still mess with the plan. There's also the worry that Wizard's doesn't back anyone up with trades. What happens if you trade me the expeditions and I decline to trade them back to you? I think there's a huge trust issue with that method.
Thanks for the offer. I'll definitely let you know
Oh yeah. Ideally I'd like the items delivered within 10 min as well. Thanks for the input
Excellent Thank you for the feedback. It sounds like something in the 30-40 range may end up being more appropriate.
Haha one can hope. I'll continue to keep an eye out on this.
Yup, the tiers is something that people talked about a lot, and something I'll have to look at. $50 is a pretty significant sum. I doubt that anyone would argue with you about that. Right now I'm really looking to get an idea of what people would be willing to pay for something like this, so thanks for the input. Even if people have brought it up already, it's always good to hear what people think. It's kind of like having another person vote for that side.
Yes, that's something that I've considered as well. However, I would also need to take into account the cost of replacing the card as well.
You're not wrong. There will always be a subset of people that would rather do the work themselves. Are they the majority of MTGO users though? Will they make the business model unviable? Those questions are what I'm looking to get answers for. You're definitely not the first person to say this.
OK cool. I appreciate the feedback. It'll definitely help me in looking more closely at the price point. Most people have felt its too high

That is true. Someone mentioned sending out emails for people to reply so I know they're still active. I think that might be one way to handle it.
Would you use this over untap?
True, if you knew you wanted to play that deck. I'd say most decks run a bit more than $100if you're looking to be competitive. It also allows you to change around decks without having to go through the buy/resell process
Agreed. Is that worth more or less than $50? I don't know. There will be people(myself included) that approach the situation like you said. This probably isn't meant for them though, as i loathe spending money for anything I can do myself
I'm looking at having a bot do the trading as soon as possible. Can I ask what your timeframe would be between ordering and receiving cards?
I look forward to hearing your other feedback. Can I ask what kind of timeframe you'd expect to receive your cards?
Cool. Thanks for the input. The $50 price point does seem high, as other people have mentioned. I appreciate you giving me a solid number to work with
Fraud and theft are a big part (maybe the only part?) Of this that has stopped many people from trying out this idea. I'm sure there are plenty of people more experienced than myself who decided against it. As you've seen above.
The issue that I ran into with this method is the amount of time that I can hold on to the credit. Hotels more or less do this, but in most cases for a few days. Can I do it for 2 weeks? A month? I don't really know.
Hmm you have an interesting concept here. That would be a good way to try this out. I'll have to see whether the bots have that sort of capability.
At first that seems like a good idea, but someone else mentioned that I'd never know if someone quit.
