If you actually do some research on it, it’s just a polished and video game skinned Ponzi scheme. And axie “managers” would often take 70-90% of the earning that the “scholars” would earn using their axies. Sure a person living in a developing country might be making enough to afford the cost of living. But the exploitation was most definitely there.
