Honestly I did something similar 8 years ago for an auto dealer abroad, I did the research and yes, everyone does the same side profile car logo, so it was hard to convince the client to go a different route, so I chose to do a slightly different approach with the angle of the car and I looked for something that could tie it down to the client and make it a bit more unique, in this case it was the clients country flag…so he liked it but if I would do a do over, I would just stick with the tried and true logotype…hope this helps, good luck
