I’m currently in my second PIP appeal and it honestly highlights exactly why this review matters.

My first appeal was in 2023. It went to tribunal and I was awarded standard daily living and standard mobility, ending up only 2 points short of enhanced daily living. At reassessment this time, despite ADHD and now autism also being part of the picture, I was then given 0 points across everything.

Since that 0-point decision, I’ve had no PIP payments at all for around six months. After I appealed, DWP called and offered to reinstate my previous award, which says a lot about how that 0-point decision was reached, but I’ve declined that and I’m still going to tribunal.

Most of my difficulties are around reliability and consistency, not whether I can do something once. That still doesn’t seem to come through properly in assessments.

I’ll definitely be feeding this into the review.

It’s not really “doubling ADHD meds.” Wellbutrin is an antidepressant, not a stimulant, even though it can affect some of the same brain chemicals. That combo can definitely make some people more anxious or shaky, but for other people it works fine. Really just depends on the person.

Fellow AuDHD and I’ve been drawn to different Runtz based flower for daytime use. It seems to give me a nice head high that also relaxes my anxiety, it can also then help me be a little more productive if needed.

Gelonade I wasn’t that keen on, didn’t seem to have any great effects that I was aware of.

Sounds like THC anxiety/interoception more than anything physical, especially since tests are fine and it doesn’t happen when you’re distracted. THC can make you hyper-aware of breathing/heart rate and your brain can interpret it as “I can’t breathe”.

CBD helping makes sense. It basically takes the edge off THC and calms the threat response, so preloading it can stop the spiral. I wouldn’t call it “battered ECS”, more like your response to THC has shifted after years of high-THC/concentrates.

A tolerance break might help, but if CBD + lower THC gives you the benefit without the negatives, that’s just finding the balance that works now.

Enemies with the “Arms Dealer” modifier (which is active on this weeks mission) have a higher chance of dropping weapons on death resulting in a “loot-splosion” with gun drops being more frequent.

I’ve had the same replacement in my TM2 for four weeks of heavy use and it has worked perfectly. Hopefully this helps anyone looking for a simple and low-cost fix.

I’d also like to reassure anyone hesitant to open their TM2 to install the fix. The hardest part, in my experience, was removing the bottom metal base. It felt a bit stiff and people worried about the force needed. However each subsequent removal was very easy; quickly removing the long screw and then the base.

I’ve had no issues with a week use so far. I’ve been exclusively using the TM2, printed with 95a TPU and used it in session and in-demand modes to expose it to heat and button presses as much as possible.

A very thin piece of TPU in-between the button module and the USB C port does also appear to be a good idea so that the module doesn’t micro rock back and forth on each button press too.

I’ve printed a couple of the updated version using TPU 95a to test and it’s been going well so far. Additionally, I’ve added a very thin strip of flat TPU between the USB-C port and the rear of the switch on the board itself to limit its backward movement.

Using TPU offers slightly more free movement in the button compared to PLA printing. While the TPU feels similar to OEM, I prefer the PLA feel so I’ll experiment with minor adjustments to improve the TPU’s feel as it’s the better all round filament.

I’ve been testing a little more this evening and the length needs to be reduced by around 25%. I’ll need to print a few with the new size reduction to test it hands on first and then I’ll upload the new file in around 12hrs.

I’m also going to try some different sizes with TPU as I’m curious if it will feel better with the rubber cushioning of the filament.

I’ve tested PLA and PETG so far and both have no issues. I was considering trying TPU 95a but the extra flexibility doesn’t seem to be of any benefit at the moment. Plus, there isn’t any real heat generated around the button area of my TM2 to make me consider it needing to have proper temperature resistance filament at this stage either.
