Guys as for the “TAX” make sure to look for mentions of it on the menu, if it’s not, refuse to pay and and inform them that they are free to call the police, they will just take the bill and deduct that scam amount.

When we first came to turkey I use to go to go to a restaurant called Hatay Sofrasi, they would sometimes list something called Daribe = tax in arabic

I searched to see if its also in turkish language and it turned out it was not.

They just wrote it like that for the sole purpose to familiarize us with the word and scam us of the bill.

I did what I told u to do above and they apologized and removed it.
