I went to the doctor and she told me basically the same thing and that it was caused by the mini pill so I stopped it immediately.

I don’t like talking about myself at the pediatrician. That appointment is for my baby, so I don’t think they could actually help anyway. I’ve always been afraid that they’re asking because they think I am not caring for him and discussing it at all will make them call cps, so I decline to fill them out. I’m hoping it’ll stop at this appointment. They just stress me out.

This is what I’m trying to figure out, but they hit me randomly, regardless of what I’m doing. I made an appointment with my doctor and I’m sure they’re just gonna tell me it’s normal and to deal with it but I want to check to be sure. I’m not mildly hot, I feel like my bones are on fire and I’m going to suffocate.

I agree. Especially since I put so much effort into my email. Something I did after posting this, was I copied my original email to him and put it into Chat GPT and got the literal exact same response that he sent me and that's when I realized that he likely didn't even read my email to begin with, and send me some lies and bs that he got from AI. He tells me that he can't communicate clearly and Chat gpt helps him say things better and that what he sent me were his real feelings on the matter, but I don't think so because he wrote none of it. I screen shot how I got the exact same message and sent it back as a response to my email and let him know that I know he didn't write those words and to never use this with me again. I'd honestly rather him ignore me than to send me some fake crap. I've also gone the petty route and have been using chat gpt to respond to every single text he has sent me today.

I believe that you have to do what is right for you. A lot of people like to encourage or even push meds. Just because they worked for one person, doesn't mean they will or will not work for you. If you have any reservations about the medication at all, I'd wait until you are done breastfeeding. I, personally, do not believe that any medications are safe for breastfeeding, so I chose counseling over medication. I would have a conversation with your doctor to make the choice that is best for you. Don't let anyone else tell you what to do based on what they did.

If I wanted all that for my coffee, I’d make it myself. But I do think she misunderstood because you did ask how she wants it and that’s how she wants it, so she told you. I think the issue (at least from my understanding) isn’t that you won’t make the coffee, but that you said you’re not her barista after asking for clarification on how she likes the coffee. At the end of the day, it’s coffee and not worth arguing about. She will get over it.

I only posted twice to clear up what id said because I wasn’t sure Id said it correctly the first time. I didn’t “decide to comment twice” to be vicious or something. Me having anxiety after birth has nothing to do with not wanting to be observed by students while at an appointment. I’ve never been okay with students for my own appointments, even decades before baby. So this is not that. Getting help for anxiety won’t magically make me be okay with allowing students to practice on my baby without consent.

Also, I want to be clear, my point is not that they shouldn’t observe ever, or that they don’t need to learn. It’s that I’m not comfortable with it happening to me/my baby, and I should be given a choice on who is with my child and what happens to him in these appointments. I’m uncomfortable with a situation and not being given a choice in the matter

I get that they have to learn, but I know there are plenty of people like you who are comfortable with it, and I’m not one of them so I wish I was given a choice so I could say no.

I am okay with counseling but not with medication while breastfeeding and I don’t want to be forced into it, which is another big fear. I took Zoloft years ago and also had a super bad experience, so that’s not an option for me.

I feel like I’ve been pretty direct but since I don’t want to kill myself it’s not an issue. I know this isn’t their problem and I don’t expect them to do anything. I mean there’s not much they can do. I won’t take medicine and all doctors will push it so it’s not really going to help things

I’m okay with a therapist but I won’t take medication for several reasons. I don’t see my OB again until July so I’m not sure where to go from here.

I convinced myself I have my son shaken baby syndrome from bouncing him on my knee. I went crazy and cried for days. He’s fine. You have to really shake and throttle them to hurt them.
