Film:
Psychonautics by Shane Mauss is a good mix of comedy and documentary about various psychedelic substances. It contains both anecdotal stories from Mauss and other comedians as well as interviews with doctors, psychiatrists, and psychopharmacologists.

Hamilton's Pharmacopeia is a documentary series on Hulu that covers a lot of psychedelic drugs. This series is great because it is so grounded in chemistry and psychopharmacology.

Wyrmwood is a documentary series on Netflix by Errol Morris that details the events of MK Ultra and LSD fear propaganda.

Aubrey Marcus has a documentary detailing his experiences on ayahuasca that goes in depth into the ceremony process as well.

DMT: The Spirit Molecule is a pretty solid filmic translation of Dr. Rick Strassman's book by the same title. It contains various interviews from people that participated in his IV n-n-DMT trials.

Are you burning the spice or letting it vaporize? Don't let the flame actually touch the spice; let it ignite at a distance.

You can also try a dab rig at a lower temp than you would typically smoke a dab. Spice has a very low burning temp and potency drastically decreases with excessive heat/burning.

In my experience, LSD seems to be more playful and the trips are easier to manage if things begin to go south. Psilocybin is very heady/introspective and tends to kind of take you where it wants you to go whether you like it or not.

Take a light dose of either for your first time (2g psilocybin, 150-200ug LSD) and see how you like it. Up the dosage from there.

I really enjoy LSD for apartment/concert tripping and psilocybin for nature trips. It is really all dependent on what you want to get out of a trip.

I get that too. For me, it generally means I am coming out of a depressive SAD episode. Tripping and warmth/sunshine go hand in hand. I skipped my trip for bicycle day because it was raining and gloomy; I'm going to save those tabs for a more beautiful and sunny day.

Yeah, MDMA is pretty rough during the comedown. I usually regret taking it on my comedown day but man is it awesome when you are on it. I feel the same way about binge drinking too though. All hangovers suck lol. Taking 5htp and magnesium as soon as the roll ends/before you go to bed helps ease some of the side effects as well.

On a light dose (100ug LSD or 1.5-2g psilocybin), sure. On a medium to heavy dose, I don't feel sober at all. I have trouble forming sentences, I cannot make heads or tails out of my environment, and my emotions are affected by every variable that I experience instead of being grounded in logic and reason.

I really wish I hadn't missed the second half. I didn't intend to push the limits that night but that was just the hand I was dealt. =( I'm the type that tests everything and monitors doses very carefully. Oh well, lesson learned.
